Just 30 minutes inland from the bustling Costa beaches yet surrounded by stunning scenery this luxuriously appointed 2 bedroom villa offers the ideal getaway for those wanting to enjoy Andalucia's magnificent countryside as well as the opportunity to discover many of the unspoilt beaches west of Malaga to Granada. The villa enjoys an 8m x 4m pool and beautiful Mediterranean landscaped gardens. Sit and watch the many birds of prey as they soar across the valley from the surrounding National Park and admire the aerial skills of the swallows as they cool off diving in the pool and chase each other across the terraces. A 'chefs' kitchen includes all modern appliances including dishwasher and microwave and the lounge is complete with a plasma TV, satellite receiver (all UK Sky basic channels) DVD player, DVD collection and Hi-Fi. The areas 3 main Pueblo Blancos can be viewed from the terraces with local shops and restaurants at Archez just 5 mins drive. In short - paradise!

Nearest Motorway: N340 at 17 Kilometres
Situated just one hours drive from Malaga Airport in a stunning location on the edge of a National Park, Casa Baijan enjoys magnificent uninterrupted views over a valley sweeping all the way down to the Mediterranean sea. Three Peublo Blancos, Canillas de Albaida, Archez and Competa, with shops, bars and restaurants are within five to fifteen minutes drive and beaches within 17km. Two beautiful naturist beaches can be found at Torre del Mar and Cantarrrijan. The pretty seaside town of Nerja is approximately 45 minutes drive. The old city of Malaga has much to entice the visitor with its myriad of criss crossing streets, tapas bars, restaurants and museums including the world famous Picasso museum and birthplace. Slightly further afield to the east lies the historic city of Granada (1hr 45 mins) where a visit to the Alhambra Palace and exotic gardens is a must see. For the sporty there is Skiing (winter only!) Golf, Sailing, Wind Surfing, Horse Riding, Walking and much more.

  • Bedroom 1 has the benefit of air-conditioning and is furnished with a large pine double bed, two large pine double wardrobes, a pine chest, matching dressing table and full height mirror. There are two armchairs and a coffee table, together with a wall mounted flat screen TV and DVD player. The room is twin aspect with magnificent views to the front and French doors opening out to the Jasmine Terrace and pool to the side. Bedroom 2 has a comfy iron bed, a double wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 3 is usually used as the dining room, however there is a good size sofa bed and built in wardrobe so it can easily and comfortably be occupied as a sleeping area. All rooms are centrally heated.

Notes: The villa overlooks a steep valley and the pool's shallow end is over 1m (although there are wide Roman steps to sit on) therefore it is not suitable for young children. Towels are provided - but not beach/pool towels. The linen is changed and the villa is cleaned weekly. Hot water is included but the gas central heating (necessary for the winter months only) is charged for separately.
