Family holiday in Bulgaria

We have just arrived back in the UK from one week's holiday at Stephen & Margaret's apartment. It was fabulous from start to finish. The apartment was immaculate and excellently fitted out with all the requirements for a family, having a washing machine was a great help especially with an 18month old with us. The views from the apartment were fantastic especially in the evening. When we arrived Stephen had arranged his colleague to lift us at Bourgas Airport, he was ready and waiting when our flight arrived and brought us straight to the apartment where the table was laid with fruit, wine, biscuits and not forgetting the beer!! We had cheese, ham and bread left in, which took care of the next morning's breakfast. Each morning I got up and relaxed by the pool. We went into Sunny Beach most nights on the shuttle bus, (daily ticket was 5leva which could be used throughout the day 10am - 1pm & 5pm - 8pm). The restaurants were fantastic and beer only 40p a pint, my favourite restaurant was along the beach front at Sunny Beach - it was an italian. There were lots of mini golf for the kids to play and we spent one day at the beach. Last night we took a taxi (Huban the local taxi driver was great) to Nessebar Old Town, the scenery in the evening was stunning, we ate in Hemmingways, and sat at overlooking the harbour. During the week I text my friend and told her this would be perfect location for her family holiday next year - One week wasn't long enough, would have loved a 2nd week !!
