Surrounding area

The house is ideal for both summer and winter holidays, being just 40 minutes from Sarnano, (which as well as the skiing centre has its own thermal baths and many walking routes) and half an hour from the Adriatic coast. 10 miles away lie the Roman ruins of Urbisaglia, (amphitheatre, cryptoportico), and 8 miles away is the walled city of Macerata, which hosts an annual opera festival in its Sferistereo. There are numerous restaurants in the area, which are as pleasing to the palate as they are easy on the wallet.

By Car...

Day trips include: the Frasassi Caves (one of the largest networks in Central Europe), Assisi - with its Basilica, Perugia - a beautiful University City, Bologna - city of art, music and cuisine, Rome - no words necessary.
