La Torre Golf resort is situated 15 minutes from the beautiful & historic Spanish City of Murcia & 15 Minutes in the opposite direction to Cartagena a historical Spanish port. Close to the bay of Mar Menor & lovely sandy beaches that enjoy 300 days a year of sun. The resort has 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf course ( plus numerous other golf courses in the area) ,Golf clubhouse, shop & Spike bar 6 x restaurants including Italian , Spanish Tapas & Japanese an Irish pub with Sports on TV & entertainment. Supermarket & Beauty/ health store . Multiple swimming pools, children's play areas & Tennis courts.

Golf: The property is on the Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort , which is part of the Polaris Golf Trail. The course at La Torre is a fantastic test of golf with water & large bunkers coming into play! 18 holes Par 68 5354 metres,with 4 different Tees for all abilities. Signature hole is the 9th Par 3 over the lake over looked by Hotel , restaurants & clubhouse! The club has a very well equipped Pro shop , Spike Bar & restaurant with sun terraces overlooking course & practice areas. There is a driving range / practice area & putting green. Buggies available & electric trolleys are also available for hire as are clubs & shoes. Booking system in place through Pro shop with special rates for residents available . Weekend competitions are also available , just ask in Pro shop. As the Club is part of the Polaris family it's sister courses at El Valle resort , Mar Menor resort & Hicienda Riquelme are available with competitive green fees & free transport between resorts. Close to La Torre is the famous resort of La Manga , around 25 minutes drive south with 3 Challenging courses the North , West & South courses. Plus Villamartin once host of Spanish Open is 20 minutes North of La Torre close. Several other New courses included the highly recommended Roda are also close by , this is an ideal base for a golf break in the Costa Calida which boasts more sunshine than anywhere else in Spain!

Really good location, within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Just across the road from the well maintained pool area with views over golf course.
Well looked after apartment with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful and clean townhouse

Visit from 23rd of August - 6th of September 2008.
My husbond and I enjoyed this townhouse and our vacation in theese surroundings very much and we can recommend it to other people. The pictures from the place are accurate regarding the house and golf course. We think that the kitchen in the house was a bit small but the house was wonderfull and we had a very nice stay. I would like to reccomend other visitors to rent a car if staying at La Torre Golf Resort.
