Ideally situated in Crete's Apokoronas region, considered by many to be the island's most beautiful, Villa Sinefo Ennea is located in an elevated position with stunning sea views from both ground and first floor. It stands in its own private garden within a small select development. The 40sq metre mosaic tiled pool, to the rear of the villa, is shared with four other houses. The garden is on 2 levels with private areas for sunbathing or sitting in the shade. A wide variety of plants, including bougainvillea, palms, fruit trees and cacti are becoming established. Sunbeds and deckchairs are provided. There is a covered terrace area with table and chairs for alfresco meals. A natural stone paved area with pergola provides peaceful shade for relaxation. Our satisfied holidaymakers include a couple chilling out; a baby on her first holiday; energetic under 10s; teenagers; people who hired cars and those who explored on foot and by bus. Some even fell in love with Plaka!

Villa Sinefo Ennea is situated in Crete's Apokoronas region, considered by many to be the island's most beautiful. The villa is located on the edge of the traditional village of Plaka with views of Souda Bay and the Akrotiri peninsula. The village square, with its excellent tavernas, bar, cafes and mini market be reached on foot in five minutes. The seaside village of Almirida and its blue flag sandy, gently shelving beach is a further 15 minutes downhill or 5 minutes by car. Here you will find beachside tavernas, bakeries, mini markets, gift shops, sailing/windsurfing, car hire, internet cafe. Local villages are Kalives (bank), Gavalochori, Vamos (health centre), Drapanos and Kokkino Chorio. The old capital of Chania, a 30 minute drive, has a beautiful Venetian harbour with a maze of fascinating backstreets. An evening visit to take in the atmosphere is essential. Georgioupoli and Rethymno are less than 1 hour. The White Mountains are easily accessible by car.

    Included in the price: welcome pack, weekly maid and linen service, use of safe, air conditioning and cost of utilities.
    A deposit of £100 per week is required when booking, the balance is due 8 weeks before departure, payable by cheque or bank transfer. A refundable security deposit of £100 is also charged to cover the cost of any damages and telephone usage. A high chair, cot and baby bath can be hired for a weekly charge - please request details.
    The villa has been registered with the Greek tourist board, has an EOT protocol number and complies fully with their regulations. These requirements are comprehensive and cover, for example, fire precautions, environmental inspection, facilities provided, swimming pool maintenance and safety. You can book this property with confidence.
    For two people a special discount rate of £50 applies, EXCEPT for November to March and peak holiday periods.

Additional guests are accommodated in the lounge where there is an orthopaedic sofa bed that has the flexibility to be used as either twin beds or one double.

The open plan lounge/kitchen is furnished to a high standard in a modern style with a double or twin orthopaedic sofa bed, leather chair and coffee table. There is a wall mounted CD/mp3 player,Satellite flat screen LCD TV and DVD player. CDs and DVDs are provided, but you might prefer to bring your favourites. Telephone available for local and european land line calls at reasonable rates. The lounge French windows overlook the village and sea. The well appointed kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with all the comforts of home, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron and the vital wine glasses and bottle opener! The villa is fully air conditioned with units that can also act as heaters if required for early and late season visitors. Supplementary heating is by means of oil filled radiator. Hot water is provided by means of solar power, backed up by electricity. The staircase bookshelf holds reading matter to suit all tastes.

Activities close by

The local area provides some wonderful walks and a guide book of walks is available for guests to use. The beach at Almerida is sandy and gently sheving and is ideal for families. Sailing and windsurfing hire is available.
