Recently built fully furnished self catering apartment situated just beyond Rockley Golf & Country Club, Barbados. This beautiful one bedroom apartment is ideally suited for 2 people, but can sleep up to 4. The bedroom contains a double bed as well as a sofa bed. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. Both rooms contain air condition and ceiling fans. All windows have screens. The fully equipped European kitchen with breakfast bar comprises a large electric oven, 4 zone ceramic hob, microwave, full size fridge-freezer, toaster, blender, kettle and all necessary utensils. There is also a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. An iron and ironing board are available. The property features a large balcony furnished with table and chairs and there is a communal swimming pool. The apartment is ideal for a relaxing self-catering Caribbean holiday and also perfect for the golfer, whilst being close enough to all of the amenities that both St. Lawrence Gap and Bridge town have to offer.

Situated in a quiet safe residential area the property offers an ideal place to rest and relax and is still near enough to all the action when required. A 20 minutes walk will take you to the beautiful sandy Rockley beach (aka Accra Beach). A large super market which provides a free shuttle service back to your apartment, an International Bank, Post office and 24hr Petrol station are in the neighbourhood. The famous and vibrant St Lawrence Gap area with it's many bars, restaurants, and clubs is only a short taxi or bus ride away. The capital Bridgetown is a 15 minute drive away. You may also want to visit the town of Oistins for the famous Friday Night Fish-Fry where you can have a rum with the locals in a very relaxed setting. A car is recommended but not essential as there are plenty of buses and taxis operating nearby. Car rentals can be arranged to be waiting for you at your apartment along with a breakfast starter in the fridge for your first morning.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates are based on 2 sharing, 3rd & 4th adults age 16 and above are charged at an additional $20.00 each per night, whilst under 16s stay free when sharing with 2 adults. Bicycle rental is $10.00 per day per bicycle with a refundable deposit of $100.00 per bicycle. Rates are inclusive of everything including maid service once a week. Additional maid service can be arranged.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking, with the balance payable 45 days before arrival. A refundable breakage/damage deposit of $300 is required with the final payment. PayPal, wire transfer or bank draft are all accepted. We welcome payments in USD, £Sterling or Euro.
  • In the event of cancellation of more than 4 weeks prior to arrival, a full refund will be returned. A 50% refund will apply if a booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of arrival. Early departures will not be refunded.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment - a refreshing change from the many tired properties that blight the region. The whole experience with renting here was easy and pleasurable and the apartment has everything you could need. The place is clean and tidy and of good quality. The location is great on a pleasant road away from the humdrum yet with easy access to town or the main roads for touring the island. We would certainly recommend this place.

My girlfriend and i stayed in this fantastic appartment for two weeks and enjoyed ourselves very much. Location is perfect - just what we wanted; away from all big hotels and big shopping malls or fast food restaurants - very quiet, tidy and comfortable. With the wooden ceiling this place becomes warm and liveable very quickly. We either relaxed with some drinks on the balcony or jumped into the pool for refreshing in the morning or a cosy session at night. For going to the beach we always took the bikes and it just takes 10min to go to Accra Beach. It is always a question of taste, but we thought this is the most beautiful beach on Barbados. Therefore renting a car is not necessarily a must. One can find everything he needs in short distance - assumed that he can and wants to ride a bike =D. I will always recommend not only the Island Barbados for a beautiful vacation, but also this appatment to make it perfect......, and we will definitely come back!

Relaxing vacation at Springcourt

Having arrived on an evening flight, we were delighted to be greeted by the manager of the apartment on our arrival at Springcourt. All the lights were on in the apartment and it looked so welcoming. Just the perfect place to relax. We found everything that we needed, just like a home from home.

I would recommend hiring a car if at all possible, just for the convenience.

We enjoyed relaxing by the pool.Lovely to find somewhere
with very few people at one time by the pool. Quite often we had the place to ourselves.

We had a fabulous time in Barbados and I cannot wait until our next visit.

I definitely recommend this apartment if you want to get away from the crowds.

My stay in Springcourt

This apartment is very nice, clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of the road and next to it is the Rockley golf course. The manager was very helpful and ready to help whenever I needed it. He did not trouble me at all. The owner gave me helpful hints to prepare my vacation.
When I arrived at the apartment, everything was as I expected it, clean and tidy. The swimming pool is big enough to do some laps or to have a good time with family and friends. At the end of the complex, the last building is under construction, but this was no trouble at all.
Since the complex is at the end of the road, a 15 or 20 minutes walk is required to go to the beach or to the city where you can use to public transportation to go in most areas of the island. You can also use the taxi service if you want. There is a market near by that offers a free shuttle service to it's costumers.
I was on vacation by myself and I wanted a lot of tranquility and that is exactly what I got. I ate at the Bubba's sports bar and restaurant and found their flying fish sinfully delicious. I also walked all the way to David's place where I found a lovely restaurant next to the sea.
I went on two catamaran excursion, one along the west coast witn Cool Runnings and the other in the Grenadine islands with Chantour. Both excursions were great opportunities to do some snorkeling and to take a lot of pictures.
I found a copy of the of "The ins and outs of Barbados" at the apartment and discovered a great island guide. Everything that needs to be known about the beautiful Barbados is in this guide.
I recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to vacation in a lovely environment. I really appreciated my stay and will come back as soon as I can.

Perfect apartment, great value, very relaxing

The apartment was fantastic from the moment we entered the door. A lovely welcoming decor with a great balcony and comfortable furniture (including clean linen). The pool was great and the other residents were a treat. I would strongly advise renting a car, because although amenities are very close, I would not put them in the walking distance category. However car rentals are cheap and reliable, and if you havent driven in barbados, it is almost a pleasure. Oistins and St Lawrence gap and minutes away by car, Big B supermarket has everything you need. If I did not have family in Barbados I would stay here every time I went there, which is a lot because Barbados is the best holiday you could wish for.
