Luxury 5 bed Orlando Villa in the new gated development at West Haven, 'The Shire'. West Haven is a beautifully manicured development popular with holiday renters due to the quiet serene surrounding and close proximity to Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. The luxurious villa boasts 5 bedrooms consisting of 1 master suite with huge en-suite and dressing room, 1 further good size room with King bed, 1 beautiful double room downstairs and 2 twin bedrooms all with TV's and fitted to a great standard. The villa has two downstairs open-plan living rooms, luxury fitted kitchen dinning area and a 50' TV, DVD player and WiFi access. We've turned our Garage into a games room and fitted a pool table and a air hockey table. Outside is magic! A south facing Private Pool + Jacuzzi with large patio area is perfect for relaxing in the sun and splashing in the pool. There is a glass table outside that's perfect for family dining under the shady canopy.

This luxurious Orlando villa is located in the Davenport area of Orlando only 10 minutes from Disney World and 40 minutes from Orlando International Airport. The villa is located within the brand new development 'The Shire' at West Haven close to Champions gate. From Orlando International take the 528 toll road North which will lead you to the 528 West, take this towards the i4. Continue on the 528 approximately 15 mins then get on to I4 West towards Tampa at junction 72. Stay on the I4 for approximately 25/30 mins and exit at junction 58, bear right and continue through Champions gate until you reach Ronald Regan Parkway. Turn right on Ronald Regan and drive for 1 minute, West Haven will be on your left. The Walt Disney World resort area is only 10/12 minutes from our Villa. All the parks and Down town Disney are great for the kids... and the adults! From West Haven, get on the I4, head east for 10 mins, easy! For Florida and the Millennium Mall head east on i4 for 20 min

Additional information about rental rates

  • On every booking we require a deposit of 250GBP which is non refundable. The balance of the booking should be paid 6 weeks prior to the rental commencement date. Pool Heat is £95 a week (Optional but advisable between October and March). A cleaning charge of £50 is payable with the final balance for stays of less than 7 nights, this cleaning charge is not applicable to rentals longer than 1 week. On arrival our managing agent will require credit card information for a 250GBP security deposit which will only be charged to your card in case of damage to property or contents.

Notes: Strictly no smoking inside the villa, however outside by the pool is fine. There is a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor that is ideal for those that may have difficulty getting up the stairs.

##UPDATE## The recreation centre at The Shire : #### The recreation Centre at the Shire is currently unavailable, the developers, Lennar, have advised me that they hope this to be completed by September 2009 #### As a resident of the Shire you will have exclusive access to the brand new family recreational centre. Although the villa has it's own private pool and Jacuzzi you'll find another HUGE pool over at the 'Reccy'. You will also be able to take advantage of the Tennis courts and Volleyball courts. If you have young children there is a playground with swings and slides. If you enjoy pumping iron why not have a workout in the state of the art gym. All of this for free and only to residents of the Shire.

Championsgate: Champions gate is a 4 minute drive from The Shire @ West Haven, you'll find a number of take away restaurants including Chinese and Pizza that deliver, a huge supermarket called public, 2 Petrol stations, McDonald's and Chillies restaurant. Champions gate is also the home of 2 award winning golf courses designed by Greg Norman. The fabulous new 'Omni Resort' next to Champions gate offers superb golf courses and fine dining. All of this moments from our villa.

Shopping: Why not take advantage of the wonderful shopping malls in the area. My personal favorite is the Mall at Millenia. The mall boats some of the most luxurious stores in central Florida including Gucci, Tiffany & Co, Jimmy Choo, Bloomingdales, Macy's, Abercrombie & Fitch and the Apple store. The mall also has some wonderful restaurants including The Cheesecake factory. You'll find the mall just off the i4 at junction 78, approx 5 mins from Universal and 15 mins from Downtown Disney. The Premium Outlet Stores are also a great option and only 10 mins drive from the villa at exit 68 on the i4. A lovely outside mall, it's a great place to shop and get a tan at the same time! You'll find Ralph Lauren, Diesel, Nike, Lacoste, Coach, Burberry, Hilfiger and Fendi to name a few!

After a long and tiring journey we reached our villa. These feelings were soon lifted when we got in and seen our accommodation. Having stayed in Floridian Villas before we found this to be a cut above the rest. It is finished to a very high standard with all mod cons. 3 weeks here was not going to cause any hardship. This villa will suit all types looking for a luxurious gataway. The villa is sited such that you get the sun all day and you also have unspoilt views from the pool area. It is situated close to arterial routes which will get you to the attractions in good time provided there are no delays on I4. Central location also for east or west coast destinations. For any golfers there is 2 great courses at Champions Gate which is about 2 miles away, plus other courses just a short drive down the road at Highlands Reserve and Deer Creek on route 27 . We are more than happy to recommend this property to our friends and we also hope to return in the furture ourselves. We stayed for 2 week end May - start of June. On arrival at We found it easy to locate the villa via the I4 and the surrounding private roads to the gated communities were immaculately kept and the security of a gated community gave peace of mind.
The villa was spacious and luxurious througout. On the days when the Florida weather was bad, the added luxury of your property made our say much more enjoyable together with the pool table, air hockey, tv, dvd etc.

The location was perfect with only being about 10 mins from Disney and 5 minute from local shops.

I rented this villa for ten days from the 24th april to 4th may as a group of 5 peope including one child. We found it to be a pleasurable experience the villa was very modern well kept and presented, Disney locations are very close and shops, local amenities and atms are a 5 min drive away, an exellent place to relax after hard trekkin around theme park, shops, and night life, we all had no complaints with the villa it was way superior to the pics shown. Also the company who looks after this property ( Definitive) were very very freindly, polite, courtious and were on hand at all times to help, and the owner of the property itself was overley helpfull and prompt with his responces at all times . Thanks again for a lovelly stay in your holiday rental home the pleasure was ours.I cannot see myself in a hotel again unless i was a one night stay, basd on my experience in living in this villa I.recomend this villa to anyone who wants an exellent location near to all Disney resorts. We are planing to come back to his villa with a or so

I stayed at this Villa for 2 weeks in June 2008 and must say it was absolutely gorgeous. The interior decoration was lovely and - as stated in the advert - really luxurious. The master suite was lovely and made our room at home seem so small! The downstairs living areas were perfect - the pool table, huge TV + DVD player with a great selection of DVD's came in handy when the summer thunderstorms set in the afternoons. We loved the pool and jacuzzi, especially sitting outside in the evenings sharing a few bottles of wine! The location was perfect with only being about 10 mins from Disney and the outlet stores.

Thank you so much Alex, the house played such an important role in our holiday, we'd love to stay there again next year!
