Villa Magnolia, ideal for short breaks 5* luxury in a unique setting. Villa Magnolia, privately owned small hotel dating back to the XVIII century, a peaceful retreat, far from urban stress. There are four en-suite, air-conditioned bedrooms, with soothing colour washed walls and vaulted ceilings, they have been tastefully restored using traditional methods and materials, and are furnished with authentic Italian antiques. The en-suite bathrooms (in contrast) are ultra modern, with walk in wet rooms and hydro-jet showers. For the exclusive use of our guests, the grounds contain a beautiful salt water pool, the architecture of which is reminiscent of a Roman temple, but with the modern addition of a sunken Spa in the raised Temple.Villa Magnolia is the place to relax your mind, pamper your body, replenish your spirit! Environmentally friendly, private, luxurious, unique environment, with good food, great wine and healthy lifestyle.

Puglia is a fantastic tapestry of differing cultures- the Greeks, Arabs, Byzantium’s, and Normans to name but a few have all left their influence in this far, south-eastern part of Italy. The colonisations have made Puglia what it is today - a unique mix of cuisine, cultures and architecture. It is often said that the people are what makes Puglia - “they smile like the sun” and whilst this is very true, Puglia would not be the same without its “White City” at Ostuni( 10 min drive), its Roman and Baroque architecture in Lecce, its wonderful castles at Oria, Otranto and Taranto, the stunning ‘Trulli’ at Alberobello, the beautiful town of Martina Franca, everywhere you go there is something different and interesting to see and explore. Every small town seems to have a historical heart- its own ‘centro storico‘. Whether you chose to visit Puglia for the first time or are a returning visitor you will find plenty to discover. A variety of local markets, beaches, restaurants etc..........
Local activities tennis, mountain biking, swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing, wind-surfing, roller blading, walking, cycling, horse riding, diving

ECO - Credentials
Eco-sustainability is at the heart of life at Villa Magnolia. Using sun and light, renewable energies, we believe that real eco-tourism should be based on the best available technology in order to cause as little disturbance to the environment as possible and help maintain our planets future. Villa Magnolia produces energy from Photo Voltaic’s fitted on the flat roof , the energy from these cells supports the operation of the Villa and excess supplying the national grid. The domestic hot water is generated from Solar Thermal Panels. Water is pumped from the artesian well (filled by rainwater) to supply the house and the beautiful Roman style salt water swimming pool and Spa in the ‘Temple’, an area for total relaxation. In the vegetable garden of Villa Magnolia only organic produce is grown, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, tomatoes, table grapes, oranges and lemons etc… plus of course olive oil. The Lemons are used, among other things, to make Lemoncello.
Poolside
The swimming pool is but a few short steps from the Villa, entered through a stunning Bougainvillea and Jasmine covered colonnade, which in the evening is subtly lit adding to the general ambience. The Romanesque style pool is a generous 6’ x 14’ metres, lined in beautiful blue Italian mosaics. It is a salt water pool (rather than chlorine) so no more red eyes! For those who wish to use the Spa just walk up into the temple area and enjoy; it is here also that pre-booked massages take place. By keeping the numbers low, there is always plenty of room on the poolside to relax on the sun-loungers or enjoy a cool drink in the shade of the Olive tree. There is a bar to the side of the pool, where chilled drinks are stored.
Getting there!
Getting there Villa Magnolia is just a 10 minute drive from Brindisi Airport, or a 50 minute drive from Bari Airport.
