Breathtaking views of Lake Trasimeno. House is at the end of a quiet country road - yet walking distance to a great traditional restaurant. 5 minutes drive to nearest village. 10 min to Castiglione d lago. Super positioned for sight seeing on the Tuscany Umbria border with Assisi, Cortona and Montelpulciano all within an hour's drive. Day trips to Rome and Florence are easily accessible with the train station 10 minutes away

Wine Tasting

We highly reccommend Avignonesi winery - 5 minutes away. It is one of the most highly rated wineries in the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano region. Excellent whites and reds and their top rated Vin Santo. In 2008 they have open a fabulous boutique restaurant, with set lunch menus for lunch and dinner.

Cooking Course

Another of our reccomendations is for cooking courses - English speaker. Renowned cook book author Pamela Sheldon. Based in montepulciano- 20 minutes drive
