Spacious 5 bedroom house near the Hardanger plateau
Spacious 5 bedroom house with two full baths, a large living room and kitchen/dining room. Includes recreation room with table tennis. Situated 430 meters over sea level at the base of the Hardanger plateau. Easy access to the mountain area by cable car or hiking. The plateau has a large network of manned and unmanned cabins for a great adventure. Choose between day hickes to the 'trolls tongue' with a fantastic view overlooking Ringedals lake or plan a few days across the plateau. Maybe you're into glaciers. The third largest glacier in Norway is just across the fjord and it's only 15 minutes to professional guides! The nearby lake,100 meters, is great for fishing. There is an outdoor pool in Tyssedal. The villa is located in a tranquil environment with easy access by car and parking space for up to 5 vehicles. This is a child friendly area as there is little traffic. Biking along the Ringedals lake is also a relaxing experience. There are industrial museums in both Tyssedal and Odda.

Located at the foot of Northern Europes largest plateau and one of Norway's largest national parks, this is an eldarado for nature lovers. Serviced and unserviced cabins are located all across the plateu. It's easy to get to the plateu either by footpaths or cable car just outside the door or by car. It's an adventure for a lifetime. Across the fjord is the glacier national park, the third largest in Norway. There are professional glacier guides only 15 minutes away. So here are plenty of opportunities to experience outdoor life. Fishing in either fresh or salt water are close at hand. The nearby towns of Odda and Tyssedal were birthed through the up rise of modern industry about 100 years ago. Along with them came the building of the damn in Skjeggedal. Perserved old Norwegian settlements are not far away. If your into winter holidays the ski slopes are no more than 30 minutes away.
