Two luxurious Tyrolean chalets with lovely mountain views, perfectly located 5 min walk away from the main gondola, for fantastic skiing and huge variety of summer activities. Nestled within the delightful alpine village of Niederau, these two, newly built, traditional chalets have been beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, creating a luxuriously cosy mountain atmosphere. Each chalet accommodates 2-6/7 people; the ground floor is open plan, composed of a fully fitted kitchen/living/dining room, separate utility and shower room. Enjoy lovely views of the mountains from the landscaped garden and terrace. The first floor has 3 charmingly furnished double bedrooms, 2 with south-facing balcony, a modern bathroom and separate WC. A truly year round family friendly holiday experience! New this winter: our guests have use of a new 'wellness centre' with sauna and infrared cabin. These are free of charge and situated in the Vicky Apartment House a few minutes walk away.

The chalet enjoys a lovely, sunny location, just 150 m. from the newly built 4-chair ski lift. The chalet is built in a typical Tyrolean style with lots of wood and has no less than 110 m2 of living space and landscaped south facing garden! Accommodating 2-6 people with dining room/kitchen, living room, utility room and shower room (with WC) on the ground floor. The first floor has 3 bedrooms (2 with south facing balcony; one with 2 single beds), family bathroom and separate WC. The decor is tasteful and the use of wooden floors contributes greatly to the more intimate, cosy feeling of this chalet. The chalet is fitted with all modern conveniences including a kitchen with every possible built-in appliance, internet connection, TV, DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine and under floor heating throughout. The location in the village is ideal because all facilities are within walking distance. All in all an ideal address for a successful holiday!

Niederau lies in the heart of the Kitzbühler Alps in the Wildschönau valley, (translated it means wild and beautiful). A high valley located up above the Inn valley, 3 miles from the town of Wörgl and above the Brixental valley, 3 miles from the famous Skiwelt in Hopfgarten. With romantic scenery, great skiing and snowboarding facilities, this charming Tyrolean village is a genuine winter’s fairy tale. In spring, summer and autumn experience the magic of the mountains with extensive hiking, mountain biking, paragliding (the largest school in the Tyrol), canoeing, swimming, horse riding, tennis and of course the village festivals! A little further afield you can visit the towns of Innsbruck (45 mins), Kitzbühel (30 mins) or Salzburg (80 mins) and organised day trips to Europe's largest waterfalls Krimml and the Grossglockner etc. Whether you’re with your family or a group of friends, the Wildschönau has something for everyone!

  • Prices are per house/per night and includes all running costs, bed-clothes and towels.
    Final cleaning: 50.00 € . Pets: 4 € per day (All prices include VAT). A deposit of 100 € is requested on arrival.
    Maximum occupancy per chalet = 6 people.

    Tourist tax per person per day: 1.00 € (children under 16 are free).

    Arrival times: after 13:00 until 18:00 (if arrival is delayed, please telephone). Departure time is by 10:00.
  • Extra services: An early morning fresh bread delivery service is available. Should you arrive late you can send us a shopping list allowing you a smooth start to your holiday. Payment can be made direct at the supermarket.

    If you don`t want to cook during your holiday we can offer you a meal voucher € 12.- for adults and € 6.- for children which can be used for a fixed three course evening meal at most hotels and guest houses. In the Gasthof Schneeberger, only 50m from the holiday village, you can have a four course fixed evening meal and if you make a reservation for six days you can use their sauna and steambath free of charge.

There are 70 kms of well-groomed pistes, 26 lifts, a unique Race’n’Boarder Arena (a permanent race track used by the Austrian ski team for training), snowboard parks, winter walking paths and 50 kms of cross country tracks. Add to this, Nordic snow-walking, paragliding, snow shoe walking, toboggan runs and horse-drawn sleighs surrounded by a magical winter’s landscape, you are guaranteed a fantastic holiday! Top-quality instruction - five ski/snowboard schools and excellent children’s facilities: Kid’s Ski Club plus kindergarten (over-twos). The ski area is varied with something for every level of skier; slopes are mostly north facing and snow cannons guarantee skiing right to the village from Dec until mid-April. Niederau also offers a variety of après-ski bars, live music, discos and late-night clubs, with hotels and bars offering good value for money.
