Great family holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment, our first family holiday with our 15 month old daughter.
We were very happy with the apartment, and loved the fact that the living room, and kitchen diner were separate, as it meant we could keep our little one away from the interests of the kitchen drawers and cupboards, and with the dvd player in the lounge, which kept her amused while we were cooking! The apartment was decorated to a high standard, and was very comfortable.
We could walk to Bled with the pushchair in half an hour, or five minutes in the car. We were able to explore Bled, and North West Slovenia extensively, as well as into Austria and Italy, with a car with Ribno as a base, but enjoyed the peace and tranquility, of being a little distance outside of the main tourist area in Bled.
We chose Slovenia, as the weather was not as warm in August as other places in Europe, and how right we were, between 28 and 30 degrees was perfect, and allowed us to be out and about with the baby without being too hot.
We would recommend Slovenia for a holiday for anyone, young or old!
Our only slight disappointment was that we could not use the summer house, as there is a steep slope beside it, which is not safe for young children, but I suspect that this will be rectified with a rail or fence when the garden has been finished, and if that is the case, would love to go back.
