Our holiday home is located down a quiet lane and situated in a cul-de-sac at the edge of Delabole (near to Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle). It is within easy walking distance of the local shops and public house. It has an open plan living and dining area, with a newly fitted well-equipped kitchen. The living space has a sofa and two comfortable chairs and the dining area seats four. Also downstairs there is a hall and cloak room with a WC. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and the other a bunk-bed and both have free standing wardrobes. The bathroom upstairs has a bath with integrated shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. Facilities include full central heating, a washing machine, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, fridge, TV & DVD player, free view digital box, and a radio. Outside at the rear is a private garden with a patio, garden table and chairs, and is not overlooked. The house has its own parking space at the front.

Nearest Train: Bodmin Parkway at 20 Miles

The area from the River Camel north to Bude covers a mixture of great cliffs and beaches with a walking trail along the entire coast providing exhilarating views and bird-friendly cliffs. There are tiny harbours at Port Quin and Boscastle, and Port Isaac probably the prettiest fishing village in the area (backdrop to the TV programme 'Doc Martin') are all within 15 mins drive away. Tintagel with its ruined castle on a spectacular headland is only 10 mins away by car. The beaches at Polzeath, Daymar, Widemouth Bay and Bude offer great sand, surf and rock pool beaches. Rock is an ideal place for watersports, including sailing on the Camel Estuary and has two very fine golf courses. The Camel Trail offers a cycleway (bikes for hire) from Bodmin Moor or Wadebridge along the River to Padstow. Nearby Pencarrow is a beautiful house to explore. Bodmin Moor with its two peaks Rough Tor and Brown Willy, provides open moorland walking with visible evidence of the prehistoric age.

Beaches: Cornwall has some excellent beaches both for relaxing, rock pooling and for surfing. Some of the nearby beaches include; Trebarwith Strand; Tregardock; Polzeath (20 minutes drive); Daymar (20 minutes drive); Widemouth Bay (20 minutes drive); Bude (25 minutes drive). A lot of the larger beaches have facilities and some have a selection of shops and cafes too.

Places to visit: Some great villages and towns nearby to visit including Boscastle, Port Isaac and Tintagel. Padstow is about a 35 minute drive or in the summer your can get the ferry from Rock. A day out to the restored 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' and/or the Eden Project make a change from the beach.

Golf: Golf courses nearby are St Enodoc, Bowood House and St Kew.

Lovely well equiped property that was beautifully clean when we arrived. Good local amenities. Great holiday home for a family, with plenty to do without having to travel too far. We had a great week and couldn't have hoped for better weather!
