Nearest Airport: 1 hour from Geneva at 80 Kilometres
Nearest Train: St. Gervais les Bain at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Along A40 direction Chamonix Sorti 19 at 15 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
Short 1 hour drive or easy transfer service from Geneva Airport. 30 minutes by autoroute A40 direction Chamonix and then take exit 19 and continue 30 minutes into the Grand Massif mountains well marked destination Flaine village. Local taxis and free shuttle buses to nearby busling villages and ski stations, Morillions and Les. Flaine village is above 1500m elevation virtually ensuring a wintry setting for all snow sports and activities. Our Montsoleil resort is a self contained, all season, pedestrian resort perched just above Flaine village with easy access to all winter activities or golf and tennis facilities for the remainder of the year.

Notes: The facilities are new, clean and well designed. As owners, we are delighted! We have added a microwave oven, raclette hotplate, fondue set to complement the kitchen. This is one of the few units with a wood burning fireplace in the salon with logs available at the reception.

Family with 2 adolescent children - we really appreciated the shuttle in the evenings & activities organized by Intrawest - esp the cooking class for 6 euros each!
Skiing ? snowboarding was over the top. The condo is well situated in the complex and has super views of the station & mountain. Easy access & location make this a great choice for your ski week

We stayed here for a week in January 2009. It's located just over an hour's drive from Geneva Airport, which is a bonus if (like me) you're not a fan of long transfers.
The apartment itself and the building are finished to a very high standard - modern and well equipped but also cosy, complete with a log fire!
The apartment is on the 6th floor of the building, 3 floors above piste level - so you get a great view of the valley from the balcony, and it looks even better with snow!
The outdoor pool is something else. There is something quite surreal about looking up at snow-capped mountains from an outdoor pool! The orientation of the pool is also well though out, meaning that it gets the sun in the late afternoon (even in early January), just when you get back from the slopes. And don't worry, the pool is heated.
We found that the free WiFi came in handy as did the facility to order your bread, pastries etc at Reception and have them delivered fresh the following morning.
If you have any questions, Jon (the apartment owner) is very helpful and responsive.
