This spacious one bedroom apartment has everything you could want for a super holiday. It is situated in the lovely village of La Cala de Mijas just 10 Minutes from Fuengirola. It is on the main bus route between Fuengirola and Marbella. The bedroom has a kingsize bed, air-conditioning and fan and is well furnished with plenty of storage space. It is large enough to take a fold up single bed. The lounge has a double sofa bed, table & 4 chairs, cupboards and Sat TV, DVD, radio/CD player and ceiling fan. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, iron etc. The bathroom has bath with shower, WC, Bidet, wash hand basin, shaver plug and hair dryer. The large terrace overlooks the pool and gardens and has table & 4 chairs, sunbeds etc. The pool and gardens can be used all year and are for sole use of apartment block.

La Cala de Mijas is a village not to be missed! It still has the charm of Spain but many facilities that the holiday maker needs! It is a very flat area so ideal for the elderly or infirm and just a few minutes walk and you are in the countryside! Market days here are Wednesday and Saturday. There are many restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and all within a short walk of the apartment. There are numerous Banks, Pharmacies, Supermarkets, Bakers, Gift shops etc. all close by. The beach at La Cala has a Blue Ribbon Award for cleanliness and is very popular! Tivoli World , Selwo Marina and Cable Car are all located at Benalmadena which is just a 20 minute journey away and very popular with children of all ages! Miramar Centre in Fuengirola is a 10 minute journey away and is a wonderful indoor shopping mall with cinema screens showing films in English, and has a great selection of eating establishments!

A beautiful apartment

Me and my boyfriend(both in our 20s) stayed in this apartment for one week, it was a beautiful apartment with loads of space and like a home away from home. it has a lovely pool and was very peaceful and relaxing. there would of been loads of room in the apartment for a family but the place is very quite so there isnt really anything for kids to do unless you go to the zoo or theme parks etc, which are only about 10-15 mins away.
I would recommend the place for any age group that just want a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
There was also an amazing restaurant 2mins away on the way down to the beach, the food was top class and the waiters were very nice and did everything to make sure we were being looked after.
Phil and jan were absolutely fabulous people and brilliant hosts, they gives us lots of information on things to do and place to go, which was a big help and also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport which was much appreciated.I really couldnt say enough about how nice and friendly they were and i would have no hesitations of staying in any of their apartments in the future!!!

We have had many clients with children stay in this apartment because of the lovely pool and the proximity to the beach! However, if you are looking for peace and quiet but within easy walking distance of everything then look no further!

2008 Christmas Golfing Stay

Spent 10 days over Xmas 2008 at this well maintained apartment which was clean, nicely located for our golfing needs and had all necessary cooking facilities with additional benefits of nearby catering establishments, eg, Milli's for roasted chickens, Mango's for breakfasts and lunches (we rated this one very highly) and its next door to a golf booking agent which we couldn't fault and thoroughly recommend them. Its a short walk into town for the larger restaurants and only 2 minutes stroll to a lovely beach. We sunbathed most days due to some gorgeous weather and we especially liked a soothing bath at the apartment after a game of golf. Janice and Phil themselves did the airport run so no problems finding the apartment and all in all a place we can recommend.

Close to the beach and the centre of La Cala

My wife and I had a lovely holiday in this spacious apartment. The terrace has the sun all morning and the shade when you need it in the afternoon. The bed we found very comfortable(important factor to consider). The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances. The block of flats is clean and well looked after. The pool and surrounding area are well maintained.
The location is perfect as it is 5 minutes stroll to one of the best beaches on the Costa Del Sol. L Cala village centre is not much further.
Overall we would have no qualms about returning for another stay.
The owners Jan and Phil were attentive in all their dealings with us.
