The 'Strip', Tourist mini train, restaurants, bars, night clubs, taxi rank are all within a 2 minute walk of the Apartment. The Old Town & its beach is only a 1 stop mini train ride away, with escallators onto beach, great for kids and parents. Albufeira is centred in the middle of the 'Algarve' so all Coastal towns and tourist resorts are within an hours drive on the Coastal motorway. This motorway and roads to Villamoura/ Vale de Lobo for all the major Golf Courses are accessed from the 'Globe Roundabout' beside Corcovada complex. The largest shopping centre on the Algarve, close to Guia, is a 10 minute drive. Cape St Vincent, west Coast surfing, Lagos, & other historical towns, the natural Parks of western Algarve are all easily accessed. The east coast, Tavira, Cabanas, beautiful islands and beaches of the Ria Formosa, & Seville, Spain are all easily accessed as well ( Border is 1 hour drive). For the real Algarve inland - Monchique, Alte,Silves, etc are easily accessed.

Centrally located for accessing all Algarve golf c: Most Golf Courses are within a 20 Minute drive. Even the most distant, close to Spanish border, are within an hours drive.

Children: They have their own pools, play area at the Corcovada Club & Restaurant where there is another Pool, are close to many beautiful beaches and will love the many theme parks which are easily accessed from this property - Zoo Marine, Aqua Land and many more. All sports activities are catered for and our agents will take care of suggestions and advice. Mini train - this takes you to the Old Town/ Beach in 1 stop from the Apartment. No long walks and it arrives right beside the Escallators that deposit you onto the beach, and back up. Who said Albufeira was hilly? Not any more. The Day ticket allows you to ride on it as often as you like - so go down to the beach in the mornings, back for dressing up, down for nightlife until 03.00 hrs. when the train stops. Theme Parks abound. See our Agent or visit the nearby Tourist Office.

Walks, Nature, Safaris: Walking in the Algarve is a beautiful experience, along Coastlines particularly but also inland. Tourist offices all over the Algarve have maps and suggestions. You can also book 4 wheel drive safari day trips into the Cork forests, small farms for lunch, local craft centres and many things which would remain hidden from the casual tourist. Bird life is rich and varied and there are large numbers of areas where you can see great concentrations.

Golf: This property lies close to the main road into Villamoura & Vale de Lobo, which allows you to access all the great courses of the Central Algarve. But no course on the Algarve is more than 1 hours drive because of Albufeiras geographical central position to the whole Algarve region. So it is an ideal location for Golfers.

Other Activities: Excellent surfing on west coast, under 1hr on motorway.

We stayed at this fantastic apartment for 2 weeks at the beginning of Sept. 09. There were 7 of us in total. 4 adults and 3 children. This apartment is large, comfortable, child friendly and homely. A real home away from home. The children could play freely in the apartment and we never had to worry for their safety. There are security shutters on every window and door in the apartment which gave us great peace of mind at night and when we were away from the apartment. The pool area was clean and well maintained and baby pool was well used by the kids. The surrounding area had everything we needed for our holiday. The local food shops were a little expensive so we ventured in to Algarve Shopping and did our food shopping there. It was approx 50% cheaper than the local shops in Albufeira.

I would recommend this apartment highly and especially for families traveling with toddlers or babies. We had a fantastic holiday and will be back again!!!

We have just returned from a stay at the penthouse which as all reviews have stated is beautiful. It is bright airy and very tastefully decorated with very comfortable furnishings.
The transfers the owner had arranged for us ran like clockwork, no waiting around atall.
We enjoyed several trips on the tourist train to the old town which I think our party preferred to the strip, although we did have a couple of very nice meals on the strip particuarly the American Diner! We also ate at the clubhouse several times which was extremely good value.
We were initially a little disappointed that we could not use the other pools, the large one across the road. There were issues with the sunbeds also, didn't seem enough for all the people there. We witnessed a few unhappy scenes where people had removed towells from beds as they were not supposed to be reserved.
We would certainly recommend this property, the owner was very helpful with all our queries before we travelled.

Fantastic Holiday Apartment

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks in this apartment. This is without doubt the best accommodation we have stayed, the pictures do not do this place justice. The apartment is huge, very comfortably for a family of four but could easily sleep 6, as 2 of the couches are capable of being turned in beds also.
Our initial thoughts where we were staying in a suite in a 5 star hotel, with wood stained floors and very nice furniture. The facilities were excellent, nice high def TV, DVD player, full broadband wifi access, portuguese cable tv (with 100's of channels some of which have english language shows, e.g. Disney channel) and freeview satelite with BBC, ITV, Sky News etc.). The kitchen is similarly fully specified with washing machine, dish washer, coffee machine etc.
It has a nice balcony which gets the sun in the morning and afternoon and a smaller balcony outside the master bedroom which gets the sun in the evening. The swimming pool was also excellent with a baby pool and a larger pool which itself was very safe for kids. Occasionally there were issues getting loungers but there is a very sensible policy of not allowing people to reserve them, so they freed up very quickly.
Paul had organised a taxi from the airport and provided lots of useful information about the area before our visit and we were greeted by the local agents who were very helpful through the holiday.
The apartment is a few minutes walk from the strip but we found the "old town" was the best for an evenings meal/entertainment. We believe there are buses and a tourist train you can take but taxis are very cheap about €4 to get there. We rented a car during the second week and went traveling along the algarve. I would recommend the fiesa sand festival and Zoo marine and the trips to both Faro and Lagos were very interesting. Albufeira is probably the best base for touring the algarve as it is very central and the A22 motorway means it is only about 30 minutes drive to get to any part of the algarve. Renting the car also made getting to the beach much easier as the Apartment is a bit of a walk away from the beach and the walk back up hill (there are lots of hills in Albufeira) is difficult with kids.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday in a fantastic apartment and would definitely recommend this apartment for a luxurious holiday in portugal.

Regarding the only blemish - a long walk for kids to the beach - we recommend the use of the Mini Train for kids, the beach is only 1 stop away - or as the Reviewer says - taxis are cheap.

Girls holiday in Portugal

Just returned from a weeks holiday in this apartment with 7 other girls, we had the most amazing time ever, the property was beautiful and spacious and contained everything you could possibly need. Only being minutes walk from the strip and beach it made accessing everywhere very easy and cheap for us! The overall friendliness of the community around the apartment block was very lovely and welcoming enabling us to feel very safe throughout our stay.
I also just want to say thanks so much to Paul Connelly and Louise the local agent who helped us out so much with everything including transfers, and were always at the end of a phone call, made our holiday run smoothly and made it very enjoyable.
Thanks and i highly recomment this to anyone wishing to visit Albufeira in the near future !! FANTASTIC!!!

What an amazing apartment!! Beautifully equipped apartment of the highest standard. Comfortable and very clean. The owner of the apartment was very helpful and dealt with all of our queries very quickly and efficiently. The pool area was very well kept with a good sized pool. We loved the area where the apartment was, very near to amazing restaurants and bars. Lots of choices of excellent restaurants to eat in for breakfasts, lunches and evening meals at competitive prices. Two local supermarkets were within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Ideal for group holidays or families. We look forward to returning in the future!!
