Summer/Winter - Sleeps 6 Magnificent apartment in restored mountain chalet on the pistes overlooking Mont Blanc. Airport 1 hour away. Direct access with car. 2 min drive or 10 min walk to centre of village. The friendly, family resort offers wonderful downhill and cross country skiing. Ski passes 70-90 euros wk. In summer, enjoy the clean, warm, mountain air while others stifle in town. Enjoy the SILENCE... the beautiful mountain walks, the exceptional flora and the distant chime of cow bells. We pride our relationship with the locals who take pleasure in pampering our guests. Restaurants, shops, swimming & horse riding within minutes. The apartment is spacious, cosy & tastefully decorated with quality appliances. Beautiful wood burning stove & underfloor heating. Every window provides a spectacular view. All mod cons: dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer, TV, DVD, VCR, comfortable beds/duvets.

Big entrance, 3 double bedrooms, 1 en suite, all with large windows, 2nd family shower room with double wash hand basins, seperate guest loo. Washing machine and dryer. Kitchen: Hob, oven, extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave, crockery for 6 pers. Breathtaking views from all windows in the apartment. French doors facing Mont Blanc in the sitting room and main bedroom.

Nearest Airport: Geneva at 45 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: A40 Cluses at 15 Kilometres
Car: recommended
LE PRAZ-DE-LYS, alt. 1500m, 1 hr from lake Geneva; 15 minutes to Les Gets, 35 minutes to Avoriaz, 40 minutes to Chamonix. Le Praz de Lys often has very good snow when other lower resorts such as Les Gets, do not. To find Chalet Troika from Geneva airport: follow signs for Genève Lac then Chamonix, Autoroute Blanche. When on the Autoroute Blanche (A40) direction Chamonix, exit at Cluses direction Taninges. In Taninges, turn right at church and follow signs for Les Gets, Praz de Lys on left. At the Pont des Gets bridge, turn left up to Le Praz de Lys. Skis, ski lessons in English, guided day trips from chalet door to other resorts, restaurants, snow shoeing etc. can all be booked in advance. Just ask!

We stayed here with another family at New Year. It was wonderful being able to simply walk across the road to the button lift. The views from the chalet of Mont Blanc were magnificent. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. The skiing was fantastic. We hired a local private moniteur who took us to all the places most people don't get to! We would definitely go again. Praz de Lys has some lovely restaurants too, notably Jean de la Pipe.

We had a wonderful stay in July. The chalet was in a fab location with fantastic views. It was very clean and tidy with all essentials and Charlotte couldn't have given a warmer welcome with the wood burner already going for us to take the chill off the evening! We will definitely be back for another stay.

Happy, Happy Days!

We came for Half-Term holiday and had a blissful week. The young teenagers enjoyed their freedom on the ski slopes while the less active walked to the Grand Ourse for lunch . The whole family took some cross- country sli lessons ( not as easy as it look!s) and then loved returning to the cosy Chalet for hot showers and play in the snowdrifts before delicious food (often ordered that am from the village traituer) and a video on the T.V. Apartment was inviting and cosy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay including good beds, pillows and all kitchen equipment. The owner was there to greet us and show us how everything worked and helped us organise our ski rental at Jean Pierre Sports.....all in all a very happy week. We will definately book again .

Perfect ski holiday

We stayed in this chalet for one week in Febuary, it was our first time in this resort and we absolutely loved every minute of it! The chalet is gorgeous with fantastic facillities both and around it. Especially skiing across the road to the lift! The views are outstanding and on a clear night, breathtaking! We had non-ski people with us and even they loved the surroundings. I would recommend this chalet to anyone who wants quality skiing, great resturants, pleasant resort and relaxation.
Owner's Response: These guests collected family members at Geneva airport before driving up to Le Praz de Lys in blizzard conditions, at night time. They were impressed at how easily they could access the chalet despite the heavy snowfall. I was happy to book them into Le Chamois restaurant for dinner where they enjoyed Robert's cosy welcome and a well earned, excellent meal.

Very nice chalet in Praz de Lys

This chalet is perfect for holidays both summer and winter. The sorroundings have proffessional tracks for cross country in the winter and for walking in the mountains in the summer.
Tha good comfort in the chalet is lovely when you need a shower and a good meal after the activities.
I would be happy to come back!
