Second floor apartment situated in one of the town's most pleasant and calm residential area called Pueblo Español in seafront community,close to the beach and harbour,few minutes walk to the center and shops. Ideally positioned on a bus and trains route and for exploring mountain villages,touristic resorts eg Benidorm or to enjoy all the lovely surroundings.Nice English,Spanish restaurants,pubs and bars in the courtyard.The apart has 3 bedrs,sleeps maximum of 6 people comprise 1 double and 2 twin beds.1 bathr.The kitchen has a bar/hatch overlooking the lounge.Comfortably lounge/dining area with door leading to the relaxing terrace which give you a beautiful views to the mountains.The area is a paradise for those wanting peaceful holiday,sightseeing,a break,families with young children/teenagers,romantic get away... along with many local activities such swimming, sailing, cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding... or just to be relax.The nearest golf course is just 10 min drive.

El Campello is a small town close to Alicante and 33 km. from the airport which offers everything for the couple or family looking for a relaxing holiday amid lovely mountain and coastal scenery. El Campello has a small harbour (you can rent a boat there) and a large clean beach. All our beaches are marked with the blue flag and there are playgrounds for children, beach surveillances as well as red-cross support and sanitary arrangements. Because of the weather the coast is animated all the year.Swimming, sailing, surfing, golf, diving, fishing and horse riding are among the possibilities. Behind El Campello you can bike in the mountains, take a walk in the woods in Aguas or discover the countryside. There's a train which can be taken from El Campello which runs south into Alicante and north along the Costa Blanca coastline, through Villa Joyosa, Benidorm, Calpe, Denia. If you want to see more, visit peaceful villages in the mountain with beautiful views to the Mediterranean .

Notes: The apart is on 2nd floor with 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom( wash machine in here).The kitchen has freezer,fridge,microwave,kettle,coffee machine,toaster,oven,4 ring stove,dishes for more than 6 people and a bar/hatch overlooking the lounge.There is an open plan lounge- dinning room with 1 comfortable 3 places sofa and 2 large armchairs,a dinning table with 4/6 chairs,a tv,DVD with many DVDs and a cupboard.There is a door leading to a large balcony with pretty views to the mountains with a dinning table and 7 chairs for al fresco dinning or sitting.The parking is on the street and can be seen from the balcony.The front overlooks a courtyard with many Spanish, English... bars and restaurants. Many creeks for sunbathing, bathing or fishing can be reached from the community doors leading to the Mediterranean Sea.There is a play pen in the complex that can be used for children. Also a large grass area.Please no smoking inside.No animals. We propose also low rates for long term stays.

Water sports and amusement parks: Sailing, surfing, swimming, fishing, skiing...Benidorm is 25 minutes from El Campello with its exciting night life, theme and water parks including Terra Mitica, Aqualand, Mundomar...Elche is known for its palm park and also have a safari park in the proximity.Very amusing for children, the natural park of Santa Pola with lots of marine birds, saltz museum and summer fair.

Beach and walking: There are may beautiful nature areas and mountains surrounding such Aguas with the Caves of Canalobre and also the whole year Folk feast.Horse riding, mountaineering and beach promenade along coastline offers you the possibility to go by bike or walk anywhere. In Alicante town the 2 castles, the promenade with its luxurious yachts in the harbour or even the local museum are recommended. Villa Joyosa( and its chocolate museum) and Calpe are picturesque and beautiful towns to be visited. Guadalest, a top village up to the mountain offers fantastic views across the valley and reservoir. One popular trip specially for children is to the Isla de Tabarca, 17 km fron the coast, which people can swim, visit the old town and relax.

Curing Climate and Therapy: with 320 sun day per year, Costa Blanca is known as Europe´s Florida. There is + 18 degrees of day temperatures in the deepest winter and people can enjoy breakfast / lunches outside. Suitable for the treatment of bronchial asthma, arthritis, muscle problems...

Golf: Trere are over 10 golf courses in the Alicante province. Just 10 minutes´drive the Bonalba Golf and Country Club overlooking the Mediterranean with lakes and palm trees, offers all the facilities that people are looking for: golf equipment, buggies, trolleys can be hired or purchased; bars and restaurants open to no-members and lots of shops.

Well presented, but a fan in each room is a must

I stayed here with my girlfriend and another couple, the apartment was nice and clean, with good facilities. The television only has Spanish speaking channels so if that bothers you then it might pay to bring some English DVD's. There is no air-conditioning and the nights can be quite still but unfortunately there are no fans either which would be worth their weight in gold! The apartment faces a road which can be bit a bit noisy at times when the buses go past each hour or so but not really a problem unless you're planning on sleeping in.
The main beach and town centre of El Campello is a comfortable 15 minute stroll where the water is a perfect temperature and there plenty of restaurants to choose from, (although I recommend visiting the restaurant/bar directly underneath the apartment, the food is reasonable and Pepe the barman/ waiter is nicely heavy handed when pouring vodka and a real character)
To get to Benidorm by train takes about an hour and the trains leave every hour at about 10 minutes past.
Overall the place was great and with the addition of air-conditioning or fans would make it better. The night life in El Campello only extends to restaurants and 1 or 2 bars so this is not a place to go if you want to party all night (although Pepe will keep serving drinks as long as you keep buying them) we went to Benidorm for one night and got a taxi home at about 4am which cost 45 Euros, there is really only the beach for entertainment for young children and teenagers in El Campello but Alicante is not far away if your after a bigger city.
Neil’s was very helpful and the transfers to and from the airport were a nice addition as it’s around a 15-20 minute taxi ride, overall a very pleasant holiday.

We rented this apartment in El Campello in March 2009 and had a most enjoyable time. The beaches and promenades along this area towards Alicante are excellent. The apartment is very secure and within easy reach of many areas. The town itself is about 20 minutes walk away but the bus and trains, once you know the times, are very good. Access to the coastal train, which goes from Alicante to Benidorm and beyond to Dénia, is close by as is the local bus service. The cost of travel is cheap. You can purchase a travel card from El Campello train station for 2€ and then have credits added to it. This is very cost effective and can be used on both the buses and trains within certain zones.
The apartment is spacious and very clean. It more than met our needs. There is no kettle but as tea addicts we brought along our traveling kettle and teapot (and tea cosy). The TV did not show English channels but that did not bother us as we were out every evening. It might pay to bring some DVD’s with you just in case you intend staying in. The large balcony has nice views and overlooks the road which being a local road is reasonably quiet.
Our dealings with Niels went very smoothly. He was very considerate and did the the Alicante Airport transfers himself. It was very nice to meet him. We would absolutely recommend this apartment. Many thanks Niels.
