Chalet Annabelle, Chamonix Valley is a luxury chalet significantly updated during 2008. Built in true Alpine style, whether for adventure or relaxation, Chalet Annabelle provides the perfect Alpine retreat. Chalet Annabelle, Chamonix Valley offers a spacious contemporary lounge and dining room where you can kickback in front of the log fire and enjoy the magnificent vista of the Chamonix Valley stretching from the Les Houches ski area, taking in Brevent, L'Aiguille du Midi, Les Grand Montets, along the valley to Le Tour. One of the few chalets in the valley with such an extensive vista. 5 bedrooms all with private facilities and will sleep 11 very comfortably. Some bedrooms will also take a cot and further put-up bed. Designer kitchen, Wi-Fi, Large Flat Screen TV - Satellite TV, Wii machine, DVD player and extensive DVD library. A car is advised for self-catered weeks although not essential. A free bus service operates through the valley and the nearest bus stop is 600M. Excellent central location in the Chamonix Valley. Skiing and boarding - you have 6 areas to choose from with the Chamonix Valley with many more within easy reach. Courmayeur 20 Mins, Verbier 60 min. Annecy, Lyon, Milan, Turin, Zermatt, Geneva and Lausanne all possible day trips.

All bedrooms are light and spacious with wardrobes or hanging facilities. Most will take a cot. Two of the top floor bedrooms have access to the balcony offering vistas of the valley from Les Houches down to Le Tour.

Les Houches and Chamonix: Chalet Annabelle is located in Les Houches, which is a very traditional Alpine village surrounded by some of the highest Alpine peaks - equally dramatic in Summer and Winter. A little further down the valley you will find the Alpine mecha of Chamonix, a mountain town that lives and breathes all year round sat under the gaze of the mighty Mont Blanc, and the equally spectacular l'Aiguille du Midi with its glaciers sweeping towards the valley floor.

Skiing and Boarding: The Chamonix Valley has 6 ski areas with something for everyone! Whilst the adventurous will head straight to Les Grands Montets and L'Aiguille du Midi, many are content with the extensive skiing of Les Houches, Brevent, Flegere and Le Tour. 20 Minutes through the Mont Blanc Tunnel you'll discover the Italian resort of Courmayeur, with La Thuile a little further into Italy. Crossing over the Swiss border, Verbier is a little over an hour away. Back in France Les Contamines, St Gervais, Megeve, Flaine and many more ski areas are within an hours drive.

Summer Activities: Summers in th Chamonix Valley are equally spectacular with Alpine meadows replacing the ski runs. Many visitors are here simply to take in the Alpine vistas however for the more energetic, the list is endless. Summer 2009 sees 4 stages of the Tour de France within an hours drive. From Road Cycling to Mountain Biking, Motor Biking to Car Rallies. Walking, Climbing, Parapente (Paragliding)........and much much more

Golf: Chamonix has an excellent 18 hole golf course with many more courses within an hours drive.
