Villa La Cigalette, an exclusive water-front property for 4/6 people, which has been entirely renovated and refurbished in 2007, lies in a peaceful residential area of the Miramar district of the pretty town of Theoule sur Mer. La Cigalette is only 50 m from the sandy family beach, in a charming environment and in the peace of the Esterel. Beautiful sea view on the small tourist harbour of La Figueirette and the bay. The villa has a master bedroom with private bathroom and a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a 2nd bathroom. A sofa bed in the living room offers other 2 sleeps. Fully equipped American kitchen with all modern appliances. A reversible AC system guarantees the right temperature for all weather comfort. The villa has private swimming pool and garden, big terrace with BBQ area. Water-sport activities, such as sailing, water-skiing or diving - or just sunbathing are very close. The property is beautifully maintained and appointed. Parking within the property.

Just Perfect for our Family

La Cigalette was just perfect for our family. The recent refurbishment has been done to a high standard and everything is available in the villa to make your stay a real home from home experience. The other reviewers are right when they say that the photographs do not do the property justice, Gaia and her family ensure everything, both inside and out is immaculate, including the garden and plants which are stunning. The area and coast line of Theoule-sur-Mer is spectacular and there are some lovely beaches to discover. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance and Gaia is happy to offer advice and recommendations to help ensure your holiday is a success. We will definitely return.

Faultless

Impossible to fault this property. Superbly located (in a quiet area but walking distance to restaurants and a shop) and very well appointed, with wonderful views over the Mediterranean and the harbour. It is not a big villa, but it did not feel cramped at all and the garden terraces are spacious and barely overlooked. All the amenities of Theoule and Mandelieu are nearby. The beach at La Figueirette is 50 metres from the back door and is clean and quiet. The train station at Le Trayas with access to Cannes, Nice etc is 1.5km, but within walking distance (and a lovely walk too). I would highly recommend the property and we were very impressed by the welcome from the owners and their helpfulness. Wi-Fi broadband internet access is available for a small weekly fee - just let the owners know on arrival.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, wunderschön gelegen an einer kleinen tollen Bucht, Fußweg zum mehr ca. 3 Minuten. Hinterm Haus die Strasse hoch und man ist in einem weitverzweigten Wandergebiet, was man auch perfekt als Laufstrecke nutzen kann (tolle Aussicht über 2 Buchten)! Wenn man entspannen will und nicht viel Rummel vor der Tür braucht ist es der perfekte Platz um das Licht, die Sonne und das Leben an der Cote zu genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A Perfect Property

La Cigalette is in fact much better than the details suggest, it is a generous size (we were 2 adults and 3 kids), beautifully renovated and fully equipped with everything needed for a home. It was very clean and tidy with a well maintained pool and garden. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and a short drive to shops, restaurants and Cannes. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, she has provided a really useful welcome pack in the Villa and offered loads of advice about things to see and do. I would recommed this property to anyone wanting a relaxing yet fun filled holiday, we will certainly stay again.

A real find!

Such a delightful suprise awaited us. The photographs don't do the property enough justice. An immaculately clean, well-equipped and spacious villa within easy access to the beach, resort towns and local shop and restaurants. Lovely pool and three different outdoor eating locations around the villa. Beautifully decorated throughout with very nice bathrooms and kitchen area.
The owners were so welcoming and continued to be utterly hospitable and generous throughout our stay and even came to our rescue along with offering good, sound advice. We felt priviledged to have come to know the owner and her lovely family.
There is plenty to do in the area - from the more active water sports or hiking in the hills behind the villa to the relaxed beach and poolside holiday. Resort towns such as Antibes, Cannes, St Raphael are all very accessible by car or train and the little town of Theole-sur-mer is near by for local shopping and restaurants. Away from the coast are a host of medieval towns in the hills for exploring.
La Cigalette is such a treat and we hope to return soon!
