Perfect place to stay in Valencia, made especially so by the charm and helpfulness of hosts. They were so helpful and welcoming, and there were so many special touches that made all the difference - fantastic HUGE breakfast, arranging for someone to drop and pick up hire bikes from the B&B, great tips on restaurants and bars, and many other things that made our weekend in Valencia extra great. #2Perfect hosts , they worked hard to make our visit enjoyable. There is no subsitute for local knowledge,they will tell you their favourte eating place ,things to see and beaches the breakfast must rank as one of the best weve ever been offered so much so that on day 2 we asked for a smaller version, its that sort of stay. location is perfect right near the cathedral ,you feel like a local living in a lovely appartment not a tourist.were going back soon we found valencia a real treat ,weve just got back after 3100 miles in our car we had plenty of nights to compare .this stood out
First, apologies for taking four months to write this! Valencia Mansion was, beyond any doubt, one of the best places I've ever stayed in. We were greeted on arrival, hot and thirsty from a long train ride and given a bottle of cold Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) to relax. What a treat! They keep a beverage fridge in the living room stocked with soft drinks, water and alcoholic beverages...not free, honesty bar style.
As for the accomodations, they're great...comfortable beds, a great bathroom and a cute little balcony that overlooks the street below. And you couldn't ask for a better location either! Right around the corner from Valencia's main square, but still quiet at night. Perfect!
And the breakfast. Don't get me started on the breakfast! Fresh breads, hard-boiled eggs, assorted sausages, cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, jams...anything you could think of!
