Only ten minutes drive from historic, cosmopolitan Palma, yet we are deep in stunning countryside, a conservation area designated as of outstanding beauty,where the only sounds you will hear are birdsong and soft, tinkling sheep-bells. An extremely spacious, high quality and private single-storey guest cottage next to the pine plantation on our small estate. The 10 x 5 metre pool uses an advanced salt system which is very good for the skin. Unwind in the peaceful, romantic and natural environment with panoramic views to surrounding hills. Local walking, horse-riding and cycling is some of the best on the island. A ten minute stroll takes you to the local bar/restaurant offering home-cooked country cuisine. From there a bus runs every 15 minutes into Palma with its stunning historical centre, markets, galleries, superb shopping, restaurants and a vibrant night-life. This is the real, authentic and unspoilt Mallorca. Our small six-acre estate is deep in the countryside yet only ten minutes from Palma, the capital city. Valdemossa, Deja, Soller and many other areas of interest are within a short drive. This is a predominantly agricultural area, designated a 'protected area of outstanding natural beauty' and offers wonderful walks and scenery. The local riding stable offers high-quality tuition at all levels or accompanied hacks in the hills. Bicycles and some gym equipment are available for our guests. There are attractive beaches within twenty minutes drive although the salt-water pool and our many shaded areas provide a welcome alternative in the summer months. Whilst a car is not absolutely essential I highly recommend you hire one; we are within ten minutes of the excellent, extensive road network which provides fast and easy access to all parts of this lovely island.

  • Please note the rental shown is per double bedroom and the casita can be rented with just one of the bedrooms for two guests. If only one guest is staying in the second double bedroom the rental is reduced by 50%. The rental can be paid in pounds or euros.

    There is a deposit for weekly bookings of £100 or €100 to reserve each week booked with the balance to be paid in euros on arrival. Please note there is a supplement at Christmas and New Year, if available. We can sometimes offer discounts for last-minute bookings and in the offer attractive rates for long-term stays.

Notes: We have a large orchard and you are welcome to pick whichever fruit and nuts are in season. The osmosis-filtered water supply is from our own wells and has been described as 'better than Evian bottled water'. Large areas of our small estate are left wild which attracts many birds and much wild life. The infinity pool utilizes an advanced salt-water system which is far healthier and more pleasant than chlorine. This really is a very beautiful space to unwind and do as little - or as much - as you feel like. Palma, ten minutes away, is a buzzing city with something for everyone, whether restaurants, festivals, shopping, galleries, clubs or historical buildings. There are other very popular towns nearby such as Valdemossa and Deya whilst great beaches are within 20 minutes drive. There's a library of books, UK satellite receiver with quality 32' high-definition television, DVD and stereo. The local restaurant offers an excellent lunchtime set menu for €9 and we have a great BBQ.

What a place! What a welcome!

My wife and I just wanted to get away for a week of rest and relaxation. Never could we have hoped to find it in such copious quantity...
The accommodation, the surroundings and our hosts simply cannot be faulted.
It is impossible to recommend a stay in the Casita highly enough.
Suffice it to say that we have already booked two further stays...

Sue and Neil, great guests, landed on a huge, fluffy, tranquil pillow, unwound and their cares and worries vanished, like magic, overnight. That really is the joy of staying here in this beautiful and peaceful finca. The bonus is we're only ten minutes from fabulous Palma and the whole island is within easy reach. A great spot to get away from it all but an easy bus ride into Palma for shopping etc. Its a clean and comfortable casita amongst pine trees with geat views across the countryside.

High points - being able to pick your own oranges and grapefruit for breakfast from the nearby fruit trees is a nice touch. Waking up in the morning to the sound of sheep bells in the neighbouring field. The peace and quiet.

If you want to see any of the rest of the island you will need a car. Else just relax in the casita.

The casita is very secluded and quiet. Our hosts were very helpful and gave us useful tips. Any minor household problems were quickly dealt with.

A Beautiful retreat

Beautiful home from which to base your holiday. Grahame & Graeme are excellent hosts. Friendly , helpful , genuine and non-intrusive. The Casita is spotlessly clean and has everything you could want.The pool is fab , there are wonderful views from it too.The photos dont do the place justice in my opinion.
The location is unbelievable. 10 min drive to Palma and the extensive motorway network which can bring you anywhere you want to go on the island , yet also rooted firmly in the hills where you can really feel like you are getting away from it all. The bus into Palma is also a short walk away.
Cant recommend it highly enough or indeed the island itself.

Pure relaxing in a beautiful finca

We passed wonderful days at Quinta Asubio and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful spirit of the house and the garden, picked up oranges for breakfast, went swimming in the phantastic pool - surrounded by the silouettes of the mountains. Attractive beaches and sites were near and easy reachable by bus or car. We further want to point out the friendlyness of the owners, and profited of their profund knowledge of the island. Hope to come back soon!
