All year round self-catering apartment with balcony overlooking communal pool. Two bedrooms one with double bed the other with twin beds. Minutes to blue flag beaches, also 10 minute stroll to Playa Flamenca commercial centre with numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment is ideally suited for families or couples honeymooning. Also ideal for golfing holidays. There are plenty of things to do and see such as go-karting, horse-riding, water sports, aqua park, plus much more. Visit the town of Torrevieja which has a beautiful marina with boat trips to local island. Also shops, bars, restaurants and a daily craft market along the promenade. Located in the Playa Flamenca area of Orihuela Costa 10 minutes south of Torrevieja. Very close to many blue flag beaches including La Zenia beach with watersports, beach bar/restaurant etc. Situated next to La Mata natural salt lakes and conservation lakes. Close to town of Torrevieja with new shopping centre with many designer shops and huge Carrafour supermarket. Lots of things to do including water park, go-karting, horse riding, water sports, tennis, cycling etc. Boat trips to the local Island of Ta Barca and coastal trips. Fishing trips can be booked locally. Visit the many fiestas in the local villages and towns and be prepared to be amazed at the sights. Also there is a street market every day of the week in the area. Ideal area for golfers who have the choice of several golf courses which you don't have to be a member of. Taking a holiday in this area is ideal for families and couples or just come by yourself and enjoy it. Surrounded by all amenities.

About the area: Costa Blanca is situated in southern Spain in the region of Valencia, where it has all year round mild temperatures. Reaching from Benidorm down to San Pedro. It boasts magnificent old towns of Orihuela and Murcia surrounded by orange and lemon groves and lovely views of the surrounding mountains. There are many beautiful white sandy beaches most with blue flag status, varying from long stretches to small coves. There are two big natural salt-water lagoons, which together with the local temperatures create a healthy micro-climate. It is claimed to be the second healthiest place in the world to live in after California. Salt is still taken from various lakes and is exported to many countries around the world. The salt lakes are a favorite place for flamingos to flock which you can see all year round. The Spanish are very proud of their Festivals which occur throughout the year in various towns and villages.

Local Market: There is an open air market within 10/15 minutes walk of the rental every Saturday. Large variety of goods, leather, clothing, accessories toys, household items etc. and of course fruit and vegetables.

Golf Information: : There are 3 Championship Golf Courses nearby (within 20 minute drive). Las Ramblas, Villamartin and Campoamor.

Other Activities: Go Karting, Animal Safari, Aqua Park etc

Nice Apartment but not practical for us

I was impressed by the cleanliness and decor of this apartment - spotless and very tasteful but it did not have a dishwasher as stated in the description and the outside seating was not in a decent state of repair (some of the seats were broken) and so the 6 of us struggled to get around the table to eat together.

A plus point was that the pools were fantasticly clean and the kids loved them.

Veiws from the apartment were a little disappointing - You could just about see the sea but the views were interrupted by the busy roundabout outside of the complex and burger king and lidl. The immediate surrounding area is being developed and is currently full of half finished buildings.

Overall we enjoyed the accommodation but were disappointed to have been advised that the location was ideal for the elderly and children and that we didn't need a car. It was impossible to cross the motorway with a buggy as there was no pedestrian crossing footbridge close by. The nearest beach wasn't particularly suitable for families as it is a nudist beach and was not easily accessible for the elderly or kids who would struggle with the steps. We definitely needed to hire a car.
