Pentire Mews is an exciting development of individually designed apartments set around a stunning courtyard. These beautifully finished apartments are located close to the Gannel Estuary and are a peaceful and relaxing retreat away from the lively centre of Newquay, whilst being just a 5 minute walk away from Newquay’s finest surfing beach, Fistral, or the more relaxed family friendly Crantock beach. There are some excellent restaurants just down the road such as the Jamie Oliver inspired 'Fifteen' restaurant, Lewennick Lodge and Rick Stein’s trio of eateries in nearby Padstow. The Gannel is a second floor apartment and benefit from an allocated parking space, external lighting and entry phone system.

There's always a degree of nervous anticipation when going to a new rental property. This was dispelled within moments of arriving at Pentire Mews.

The location was great for a young family of three. Away from the town centre but just moments walk from the Pentire end of Fistral beach. On the other side you have the estuary with access (tides permitting) to Crantock beach, another superb vast sandy beach.

The apartment itself ticked pretty much every box, a previous reviewer noted the need for a few coat hooks etc which I'd agree with along with one or two other very minor bits. But this in no way takes away from the fact the apartment is spacious and perfectly formed. We could have happily stayed for many weeks!

Hope this good review doesn't mean it's booked when we want to go back!!!
