Photos and Description of this Samos holiday villa Self catering villa with loads of space and privacy.

This 2 storied villa built in the 1980'2 is located in a peaceful rural setting close to beaches yet still only minutes from Samos's two main towns, Samos (Vathi) and Pythagorio. It is srurrounded by fruit and olive trees. A modern kitchen downstairs make self catering a breeze. The upstairs area also has its own fridge and tea and coffee making area. All floors are marble and each level has a lounge/dining area and a bathroom, in addition to patios with outdoor furniture for dining and relaxing. The upstairs floor is accessed via a separate stairwell - offering additional privacy making it ideal for couples sharing a holiday house or for older children. The closest beach is an easy 20 minute walk and is usually quiet, frequented mostly by locals. About 4 minutes drive away is a beach area with some large hotels offering a range of watersports and some good tavernas. A wide sandy beach ideal for young children with a number of tavernas is about 7 minutes drive away.

The villa is ideally situated in a 4000 sq metre plot located in a quiet rural area, minutes to the beach and with easy access to both Samos (the main town on the island - approx 10km away) and Pythagorio (a picturesque harbour village with lots of bars and restaurants - approx 5km away). Mycali beach - a 20 minute walk through olive groves and fields - is a beach off the tourist trail mostly used by locals. Further down Mycali Beach are a number of local restaurants and tavernas as well as a large hotel where you can hire catamarans etc. Psili Amos with its wide sandy beach ideal for young children and group of fabulous beachfront tavernas is a 5 minute drive. Mitilini, a wonderful village full of character and once the biggest on the island is a 10 minute drive. Saturday night traditional Greek dancing in the Mitilini village square is a 'must do'. The airport is also a 10 minute drive away.

  • Discounts are available for long stays and for small groups.

    A deposit of 10% is required to confirm all bookings. 50% payment will be required 30 days prior to arrival. Balance will be required on arrival. Rate includes all linen and towels which will be changed every 7 days for long stays for stays longer than 10 days. Cleaning will be done once a week for stays of longer than 10 days and is included in the rates. Additional cleaning can be arranged if required for an additional charge.

  • There is a bathroom on each floor of the villa. Although dated - they are both large rooms and provide all the space needed. The bathroom on the ground floor includes a new washing machine.

  • There are two double bedrooms - one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The first floor double bedroom has big French doors opening on to the deck and giving a magnificent view across the olive groves to Turkey. Beside the double bedroom on the first floor is the third bedroom which has two single beds.

Notes: The villa was built in the 1980's, with some upgrading done in 2007. It is located in 4000 sq metres of olive grove in a beautiful rural setting. The nearest neighbours are barely visible through the trees. The garden around the house contains mature orange, lemon and Mandarine trees. The patio at the front of the first level is shaded by a lush grapevine throughout summer providing a cool and quiet spot to sit. Both floors have beautiful marble floors which are a dream to keep clean as well as being cool underfoot. All windows have insect screens, if required, and secure aluminium shutters which can be closed to keep out the sun if needed. In 2007, a new kitchen was installed, including new stove, cook top, fridge and washing machine (located in the downstairs bathroom). A garage was added and air-conditioning was also installed in both the upstairs and downstairs lounge/dining areas. This is a great house. It is located an a large property full of olive and citrus trees. The location is remote and quiet, yet it is only a few minutes from the towns and beach. The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The owners are very friendly and exceedingly helpful, both prior to the trip and on arrival. The price is reasonable for what you get.

We had an wonderful vacation.
The stone beach was fantastic and totaly for us allone,
the two most important cities in range of a few miles
and the house was situated in a realy quite area.
The owners were very vriendly and provide goed service, the description was realistic and we enjoyd every day.
