KhayaUmdani is a self-catering lodge bordering Kruger Park.

The lodge can accommodate 10 guests comfortably in 5 en suite bedrooms, each offering its own unique special feature, with sleeping arrangements that are easily altered. You decide between a king-size bed or 2 single beds per room. All rooms are individually air-conditioned. These include a luxury honeymoon suite with spa bath overlooking the bush and animals. Our comfortable rooms are complimented by an equally spacious kitchen and 2 living rooms. One with plasma TV, DVD and DSTV. Outside Khaya Umdani has a splash pool and 2 fireplaces. The large veranda offers a view on the private waterhole frequented daily by zebra, warthog, giraffe, blue wildebeest, kudu, impala, kingfisher and various other small animals. Daily cleaning service is available at reasonable cost. All linen and towels are of good quality and inclusive. From your doorstep it's about 15km drive to Crocodile bridge and 20km to Malelane gate for access into Kruger. Wildfrontier luxury accommodation. Golf courses nearby.

The Warthog room opens on the veranda and named after the warthog that needs no persuasion to have an afternoon nap in the shower. It's not as rough as it sounds! 3. The Bush baby room is upstairs with a private balcony where the bush baby regularly visits at night and from where you can look a giraffe in the eye. 4. The Kingfisher, overlooking the waterhole where tadpoles supply breakfast. 5. Hippo; named so due to the oversized bath suitable for a baby hippo!

Destinations and activities

Khaya Umdani is within reach of Maputo. The distance from here to the Mozambique border is about 20km and from there to Maputo, with its splendid tropical beaches and fabulous seafood restaurants, it is a mere 70kilometers. It is also just 60 kilometres from the Swaziland border. The Swazi kingdom offer a true African ambience with western tourist facilities. Golf courses in the area includes the world class Leopard Creek and about 3 more. The distance by road from Johannesburg is about 400kilometers and it takes 40 minutes by air. Daily flights between Kruger International and Johannesburg are available from SAA and Nationwide.
