Top floor, modern apartment, 76sqm, renovated spring-summer 2008 in a classical building centrally on the Buda side of Budapest. Located just next to the Margit bridge on the Buda side of the Danube, II. district. Close to numerous shopping opportunities, tourist attractions and public transportation. 5 minute walk to the beautiful Margit island. Large living room with large 37inch lcd-tv, bedroom and big, modern, well equipped kitchen, with separate bathroom and toilet. Double bed in bedroom and comfortable pull-out couch in living room. Balcony with view of the Parliament, Buda castle and Gellert hill.I can give advices and recommendations for different restaurants, sightseeing etc. and how to avoid the 'tourist traps'.

The location of the apartment is just perfect: a short walk to tram number 6, which took us to most of the places we wanted to see. Even a round trip with the tram was a nice event. A local retro restaurant called Bambi became our favorite place for taking a beer, and the small, cosy Gusto, just a few meters away, was a place we visited every day for lunch and coffee. Another place we loved was Margit-island ... a perfect place for jogging and swimming, and even picnicking in the evening. Amazing city!
