Summer rental: Luxury 2-bed, 1 bath apartment on Arenal Golf, sleeps 4 (ideally 2 non-smoking adults and up to 2 children) available when not in use by friends and family. Arenal Golf is a beautiful complex only 15 minutes drive from Malaga airport and ideally located as a base for sun, sea, golf and shopping. 10 mins drive to coast. Communal swimming pools. Own 3-par golf due to open Autumn 2009 (till then nearest golf 5 mins walk up the road) Apartment comprises a beautifully furnished living room with terrace (with views out to the Mediterranean), 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), modern bathroom, and secure garage parking space under the apartment. Built to a high specification 3 years ago, the 2nd floor apartment has marble floors throughout, window shutters, air conditioning and central heating. It is furnished to a very high standard, with leather sofas, glass dining table, TV, Satellite, DVD player and fully equipped for up to 6 people - in case you want to entertain

Arenal Golf is close to Benalmadena Costa (for boats, the beach and one of the best places on the Costa del Sol for night-life), Benalmadena Pueblo (for a typical Andalucian village with bars and restaurants) and Arroyo de la Miel (for excellent shopping and transport). The Benalmadena Golf Club is opposite the entrance to Arenal Golf and has a driving range and a beautiful clubhouse with a very good restaurant. You have all the modern conveniences on your doorstep, including 2 big supermarkets, a school, an international clinic (the most modern in Spain) and a host of bars and restaurants. Just down the road is Tivoli World, the largest family entertainment park on the Costa del Sol, right opposite is the Cable Car, which goes up to the highest point in the Malaga Province and a few minutes away are the Jardin de Las Aguilas (Garden of Eagles), or if you prefer penguins and dolphins, the Selwo Marina.

Notes: The apartment is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with leather sofas and dining chairs, glass dining table, TV with freeview satellite (UK channels). You will find everything you need in the kitchen, and all linen and towels are provided (but not beach towels). You can park in the secure underground garage, and then take the lift to the second floor, so it is suitable for elderly and wheelchair access. Children can play safely - it is a gated community and there is a children's pool (NB closest pool undergoing some repairs; available pool not visible from balcony - you will need to accompany children). There are always parents around, as this is a community with many families living here as well as holiday-makers - the school is just across the road, there are 2 major supermarkets and the most modern hospital in Spain on your doorstep. As we use the apartment ourselves we do ask our guests to take care of it and not to smoke indoors.

We are interested in receiving enquiries from couples with up to 2 children who want a home-from-home in Benelmadena from which to explore the coast and local attractions. We are using the apartment ourselves as a family holiday home and hope that this advert will attract similar families who want the same high standard of accommodation they are used to at home and will take the same care as they do with their own place.

Only 15 mins from Malaga airport: Arenal Golf is just off the main motorway to Fuengirola and Marbella. You can hire a car at the airport. Taxis door to door are about 35 euros. Or take the train to Aroyo de la Miel station (less than 2 euros each) and get a cab (6 euros).

Within close proximity: The apartment is 5 mins drive (uphill, so within walking distance, just!) of Benalmadena Pueblo, a charming Andalucian village with great bars and restaurants. Benalmadena Costa is just down the hill. It's one of the best places on the Costa del Sol for night-life and the beaches are glorious. If you don't have a car, there is a local bus which picks up across the road from the gates to the community. This goes to the supermarkets, the beach, the harbour, Benalmadena Pueblo and Benalmadna station. The train goes to the airport and takes you along the coast from Malaga to Mijas and Fuengirola. Arroyo de la Miel is close by, for excellent shopping and transport links.

Golf: Arenal Golf is located within minutes of some of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol. The famous Torrequebrade golf course, (home to Ryder Cup star Miguel Anguel Jiminez) is a mile away and there are several more within 30-40 minutes drive. Benalmadena Golf Club is just across the road, It has a driving range (lit at night) and a beautiful clubhouse with an excellent restaurant. Go there even if you don't play golf!
