Heritage - Unique Quality:
The church itself was built in 1840 - the Free Church of Scotland serving the village of Lybster. It shut its doors as a church in 1989, becoming a labour of love to a local villager, who has spent the years gradually renovating its interior to splendid excellence. The Church Apartment at Lybster is the third and final phase of the renovation and it is a pleasure to offer such a unique self-catering holiday experience.
It was important, in offering such high standard accommodation, that nothing has been left to chance, and attention to even the smallest details should make your holiday all the more memorable.
A variety of local prints allow you to enjoy Caithness at its best and appreciate the many coastal scenes, spectacular skies and extraordinary light and colour. Local Malt can be savoured from the finest crystal. Molton Brown, fluffy robes and Egyptian linen ensure you know you're on holiday and for the ultimate indulgence, there's even a country spa just over a mile away!
