Perfect location for GOLF!!: Golf Information: There are two courses within Mandelieu itself and plus,the apartment is within an hour drive of 17 Golf courses. The 'Old Course' founded in 1891 is one of the oldest courses in France;it offers both a 9 hole 'Grand Duc' and 18 hole 'Old Course' course.The picturesque 18 hole course (5676m par 71) has superb links,wide fairways,undulating greens and a river crossing to gain access to the 3rd hole.All laid out in the shade of 100 year old pines.The 'Riviera Golf' course opened in 1991 and is located in an area of unspoilt natural beauty surrounded by the mimosa forests of the Esterel Massif.This 18 hole course is a very technical, ondulating wooded course with water hazards.You can get a Pass Golf which includes two green-fees 18 holes on 'Riviera Golf' and 'Old Course'.This makes Mandelieu the premier golf destination on the French Riviera. And what about ski?: The French ski resort of Isola 2000 has direct access to 120km of downhill skiing, with 47 individual pistes, served by 24 ski lifts. The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season. Isola 2000 Ski Resort is OK for expert skiers, fantastic for intermediate skiers, good for beginners, fantastic for snowboarding The 2 other close resorts of Valberg and Auron have got similar features.
