Lakeview Country Club is an exclusive destination with a Scandinavian style. There are 3 acres of fishing lakes in a picturesque setting, surrounded by wildlife. The leisure facilities include an indoor pool, gym, health spa, jogging tracks around the lake and 4 bay academy golf driving range. The restaurant and bar is open all year round with seasonal entertainment such as quiz evenings, music and special interest events. Within a half hour drive you can be enjoying the rolling surf of the north coast beaches or the gentler waves and spectacular clifftop walks on the south coast. The nearest beach is just nine miles from your doorstep.

It is also close to Bodmin - one of Cornwall’s most fascinating towns steeped with history. Situated in the centre of Cornwall it is perfect for exploring in-land and is also within easy reach of both the North and South coastlines. Starting from the Jail is Cornwall’s most famous attraction The Camel Trail, offering 18 miles of traffic-free walking, cycling and horse riding along the River Camel. Head for the edge of enigmatic Bodmin Moor or coastwards, along the Camel Estuary to the market town of Wadebridge and then onto Padstow. There are also walking and cycling trails leading to the South Coast, taking in Lanhydrock, Lostwithiel, Fowey and the famous Eden Project.

With 2 small children we found the property very spacious, well equipt and family friendly. The facilities on the site were very welcome - swimming pool and the gym was very well equipt. The site suffered from a typical english summer - too much rain as some areas were water logged. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant provided good food. We found the site an excellent base for visting many different parts of Cornwall including the Eden Project - A must!

The property was also very well maintained and very clean
