Rick Stein’s presence in Padstow re-invented the town and now Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant is doing the same for Newquay. But it’s not just Jamie and Rick who are good for foodies. Lewinnick Lodge on the Pentire Headland has great food and with about the best views going. The Lusty Glaze restaurant does great British food with a Mediterranean flavour and is situated in a lovely sandy cove at the north end of Newquay. From here you can watch the surf and the surfers while you sit back and relax. Regardless of age or interests Newquay has lots on offer. Clean and good but needs a few screws tightening!

We spent a week here in early July, the apartment was very clean and had good quality beds and sofas, hence it was a comfortable stay. The kitchen is ok clean, but has wobbly cupboard doors and drawers, some missing several screws. The property is supposed to have enough crockery etc for 6, but the one wine glass seems a little too cosy! It is a nice place to stay in, I agree with the other review about not enough drawers to fit clothes in. I also think some coat hooks wouldn't go a miss as there is no where to hang or wet coats. just needs a little maintenance to get it back to scratch.
Owner's Response: Since the issues raised were brought to our attention; I'm pleased to be able to say that the problems with the cupboard doors have been attended to and additional crockery and glassware have been purchased for guests staying at "The Harbour". We look forward to welcoming all new and returning guests to Pentire Mews next year.

We just stayed in The Harbour, Pentire Mews. Had an amazing time. We had 4 adults and two kids--and had tons of room. The location was great-close to the beach and not too far to walk to town. We wished there would have been hangers/rod in the closets to hang up coats--it was the fall and very cold. One of the bedrooms only had a few small drawers for clothes--we just wished for a little more storage. But overall--LOVED LOVED this place. We hope to be back!
