Nice holiday but let down by apartment

This was my 1st 2 week holiday with my daughter. The apartment was in good condition & fairly well fitted but a little care by owners would make a big difference.
Only single beds made sleep difficult if you are used to a big bed! No drying rack meant hanging washing all over to dry.
No tea towels for 1st week
In addition I very specifically enquired about the views outside the balcony - as my day is made by sitting outside at the end of a busy day to relax with a glass of wine or 2. I specifically requested no road - no building site! - we got an apartment right on a fairly busy road & the view was a big building site!! Apparently our original apartment had a leak - no further communication despite promises. Breakfast with Kango drills & large cranes delivering concrete!!
The owners made no effort to communicate or put things right.
On a positive side this is a good area & if, like me, you are into the undeveloped & old side or the Algarve, there are great areas nearby with beautiful quiet beaches & undeveloped landscape. It is also well paced for the main family attractions such as Zoomarine & the waterparks.
Owner's Response: The complex and apartment are not on a main road but a b road leading to the beach the new villa being built was over 350 meteres away on the other side of the b road.
The villa being built was only being finished on the inside so any heavy drilling had been finished.
When this client booked the new villa had not been started and the client agreed he could tell that.
The week before we had a review from another guest who had stayed in the same apartment stating how good the complex and apartment had been .
The client has already booked a further week with ourselves in the same apartment.
This client booked through another web site anybody wanting the site address can have it and read for themselves.
We can also give you a contact email address and you can ask for their thoughts.I think of all the clients that have used this apartment with no complaints you cannot please every one all the time.
This apartment and complex was finished late last year and is in a quiet location and only 500 meters away from the beach.The apartment has been furnished by a french designer and is very high speck .
We take every oppertunity to update and replace all furnishings and when we have problems we act and sort them out quickly but we can only do that if the client makes us aware of any short comings in the apartment.
