Situated on the much favoured 'South Finger' of the Jolly Harbour complex, this spacious and fully air-conditioned Villa is a 5 minute stroll to one of the finest white sandy beaches on the island. The Villa benefits from a refurbished and fully equipped open plan kitchen, large, well furnished sitting room/dining area (with Cable TV and DVD player) and direct access via patio doors to a decked area with table, chairs and sun loungers and private mooring for a boat.Ground floor cloakroom.Upstairs the master bedroom (with a balcony overlooking the water) and 2nd bedroom are both 'en-suite' with all bed linen and towels provided. Small garage and private driveway. All the facilities of the complex are easily accessible and include a large well stocked supermarket, a good variety of restaurants, bars and shops, an outdoor swimming pool (free to residents), a fitness and sports centre, squash and tennis courts and even an 18 hole Golf Course . The Complex has 24 hour security.

Girls Getaway to Jolly Harbour

Me and my girlfriends had recently stayed at this villa for a week as a vacation getaway to Antigua and Barbuda. We had 9 girls in our group, with 4 of the girls staying at this villa and luckily our other friends were located right across the street at 219F.

The villa descriptions and photos are accurate. The owners, Teresa and Mark, are very helpful in booking the villa as well as providing a well organized brochure with images. Teresa had also maintained contact whenever we had questions and was ready to prepare us with tips for our trip. She kept in touch with us before and after our trip to ensure that everything went smooth.

Upon arrival at the villa, the place was cleaned and well maintained. The maids came twice during our stay and did a great job. My only suggestion is to bring a watch so that you can keep track of time. There are no clocks located in the bedrooms or house.

The villa is located within just a short distance (by foot or golf cart) to Jolly Beach, a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, pool, shops, etc.

Luckily we had a really cool taxi driver from the airport drop us off at our villa. We ended up calling him everyday to take us around Antigua. If you happen to run into him, his name is Ira. All the staff and locals are friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for activities and restaurants, a few suggestions that we enjoyed: Eli Eco Tour (snorkeling and cave hikes), Barbuda Tour, Rain Forest Canopy Tour (ziplining), Shirley Heights, Dennis' Restaurant, OJ's Restaurant, Shirley's Kitchen (in St. Johns). Best things to eat are the Creole Red Snapper and Garlic Lobster.

I would highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a place similar to home on your vacation to Antigua. I would definitely come back here in the future.

Travelled here with family to watch some cricket and chill out. Villa descriptions and photographs are accurate and the owners send a very helpful brochure with general information. They also kept in touch before and after our holiday and provided additional information on request - excellent customer service!
It really is only 5 minutes walk to a superb beach with a beach cafe - happy hour early evening to watch the sun go down. You can walk to the supermarket ( 10 minutes or so) - it is usually well stocked. Sports bar at the pool has a pleasant outlook. Taxis are available on site for longer trips - we recommend Nelson's Dockyard and Shirley Heights.
We 'ate in' most evenings- the villa is well- equipped for this ....could do with a strainer of some description?- (some hairy moments draining spaghetti!!)
The location is quiet, and air-conditioning and ceiling fans make it comfortable for sleeping.
I would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a restful break in comfortable surroundings near a great beach.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at this villa for one week while I was visiting Antigua on business. The villa was clean, bright and airy. I would recommend that if one is not familiar with Antigua to have a taxi drop you at the villa as it was a little difficult to find as we arrived after dark. But the staff was helpful and courteous and made us feel welcome. We had a problem with a bathroom shower the first day and maintenance was there within minutes to fix it. The villa is in a good location for sight seeing as you go one way into St. John, the capital city or turn the other way and you are headed toward the magnificant rain forest. There are a number of fantastic beaches and restaurants within minutes of the villa. Jolly Beach is just a short 5 minute walk from the villa and we enjoyed the little bar area there. We loved the view from the villa as well and would have our coffee and feed the fish in the morning from our deck overlooking the water. I would recommend this villa to anyone who was looking for a clean, modern, safe villa to rent. When returning to Antigua we would definitely stay here again.

We've just come back from this villa... things are still fresh in our minds of the fantastic week we had in Antigua.

The villa is lovely and is exactly as described by the owners on both this site and in their documentation they provide. They were very efficient in dealing with the booking and maintained good contact right up until departure. Their on-site management company were good for check-in/check-out and assisting us with any issues we had while in the property. There's always room for improvement, though, perhaps a few more cooking things in the kitchen...

I would happily take my friends to the villa and would definitely go again myself. We wanted to feed ourselves and chose this villa for that reason - it's in a great area with all the facilities you would need to self-cater, including a big supermarket, a variety of restaurants and bars as well as a fantastic location that really is only a five minute walk to the beach.

Antigua itself has much to attract the UK visitor - particularly the wide choice of direct flights to the island, the beautiful climate (hot for the entire week end Nov/start Dec, any rain was limited to a brief ten minute shower) and a very laid-back island style.

I've marked this as suitable for tourists without a car, as we didn't use one the entire time. The whole area is walkable, from beach to villa, from villa to supermarket etc, but you might object to a ten minute walk (slowly) to the shops - if so, you could always hire a golf cart to get you around or a car to get you around the whole island and to your villa.
