Fabulous apartment in a great location in Cannes

We travelled to Cannes late August 2008, two ladies and two small children. The apartment was fantastic, and was an ideal base for travelling around the French Riviera, the balcony stretches the whole length of the apartment and the apartment itself is very very spacious, beds are comfy and the complex was very secure, so we felt safe at all times.
It has everything you need, including dvd player, tv etc. Kitchen is beautifully fitted out with all mod cons... it is a relatively new apartment and is very well cared for by the owner.
The bus service is extremely regular, however, we did hire a car and it proved very useful as we travelled to Grasse, San Raphael, Monaco, and Antibes. The apartment is about a 10 minute drive into Cannes itself but it was great to escape out of the hustle and bustle to sleep.
The complex has two pools, however, does have some very strict rules in using them! But I think most residential complexes do these days.
Very enjoyable stay, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any body else... I will definately be going back...

Cannes itself was very busy but entertaining, the street performers are fab, the restaurants were all very good and if you shop around you can get some very reasonably priced meals. Le Petit Train, wherever you go is a must for site seeing and the beaches are fabulous but make sure you check for the public ones, the private ones are quite expensive for sun beds....
We took the boat over to Margherita island, which was very pleasant but difficult for disabled with limited access around the island.
Whatever you do I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay, have a good time...
