This extra spacious, one bedroomed self-catering rental is located in a prestigious private gated residence featuring 24 hour security, 2 large swimming pools and beautiful landscaped surroundings with direct access to Les Croix des Gardes, an area of forest parkland which has fitness and walking trails, picnic areas and stunning views of the Bay of Cannes. The apartment (50msq) has an extra large furnished balcony (19msq) and contains a separate kitchen with all mod cons and a breakfast bar, bedroom with extra large bed and dining/lounge area with two sofas (one can be pulled out into a large double bed), flatscreen tv and dvd. Climate control/air-conditioning is an extra feature. There is access to the balcony from all rooms. The apartment has wheelchair access and clients may also avail of secure underground parking. Shops are located nearby. Should you wish to avail of airport transfers and some light grocery shopping for your arrival we can arrange this for you.

How to get to the apartment: : By bus: Take line 200 which costs 1 Euro 30 cent and takes approx one hour You get off the bus at the terminus in Cannes. This is a combined bus and taxi station and is located beside Hotel de Ville. From there the local bus line 10 (Pins Parasols par Mirandoles) will take you to the apartment. Travel time is between 5 and 7 minutes and cost of the fare is approx 80 cent. The bus stops directly outside the gated residence of Cannes Grand Parc. Alternatively, you can take a rented car from the airport and exit the A8 motorway at the sign for Cannes centre/Mougin/Grasse taking the turn right for Cannes and then the next immediate turn right before the Renault garage and head for Rochville (approx 30 minutes). Owner will give more detailed directions.

Myself, my husband, and our seven year old daughter had the pleasure of staying here in August 2009, and found it to be exactly as described, it was spotless on arrival and everything was wall presented and had a new and looked after feel to it. It was very quite at night and a relief from the hustle and bustle from the very busy places we visited. Underground parking was fantastic, and the pool a welcome break from the heat, everything worked and the aircon was fantastic. A very safe envoirement for all in this gated complex, i would recommend it to friends and family for sure.

Fabulous apartment in a great location in Cannes

We travelled to Cannes late August 2008, two ladies and two small children. The apartment was fantastic, and was an ideal base for travelling around the French Riviera, the balcony stretches the whole length of the apartment and the apartment itself is very very spacious, beds are comfy and the complex was very secure, so we felt safe at all times.

It has everything you need, including dvd player, tv etc. Kitchen is beautifully fitted out with all mod cons... it is a relatively new apartment and is very well cared for by the owner.

The bus service is extremely regular, however, we did hire a car and it proved very useful as we travelled to Grasse, San Raphael, Monaco, and Antibes. The apartment is about a 10 minute drive into Cannes itself but it was great to escape out of the hustle and bustle to sleep.

The complex has two pools, however, does have some very strict rules in using them! But I think most residential complexes do these days.

Very enjoyable stay, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any body else... I will definately be going back...

Cannes itself was very busy but entertaining, the street performers are fab, the restaurants were all very good and if you shop around you can get some very reasonably priced meals. Le Petit Train, wherever you go is a must for site seeing and the beaches are fabulous but make sure you check for the public ones, the private ones are quite expensive for sun beds....

We took the boat over to Margherita island, which was very pleasant but difficult for disabled with limited access around the island.

Whatever you do I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay, have a good time...

The apartment needed nothing at all, it was wonderful. There wasn’t anything where we thought we could do with ...

The site is ideal for families. It is very safe and secure and kept very clean.
The site is easy to get to and within easy reach of beautiful towns or beautiful mountains. It is an ideal base and spent days in mountain gorges and evenings caught a cheap bus into town.
There is an excellent Casino Supermarket just down the hill which is very convenient.
The bus is frequent and inexpensive and the trains are great along the coast. You can catch it just outside the apartment site.
The 2 pools are invaluable with a young child. Very clean and well supervised and open long hours. We used them every day. The washing machine was invaluable for all our towels and they dried overnight on the balcony. The pools are a great bargaining tool with kids .. we will go to the gallery then home for a swim later !
A car isn’t needed but it makes it easier to get into the mountains which we loved. Within half an hour you can be in the stunning town of Grasse which feels like a world away from the coast towns.
We did gorge walking and gorge swimming
Jumping into deep river water from bridges ( with our 5 year old!)
Drove up very steep mountains on sheer hairpins to see totally breathtaking views and look over to snow capped Alps while we stood in baking heat !
We went to outdoor music events in the evenings – just beautiful!
We watched the Cannes Fireworks festival from the church in the old town on the hill. Amazing Evening ! Big Fireworks, Big sound system and people in good spirits.
We walked from the apartment to the top of the estate and through the park to the back of Cannes. A very pleasant and short walk and better than trying to find car parks !
We caught an inexpensive ferry to the Island opposite ( marguerite) and had a day snorkelling and swimming off the rocks, away from all the people !
We went to the Chagall and Modern Art Galleries in Nice which lived up to expectations and we would have done more if it hadn’t been so hot !
We ate some incredible patisserie cakes and bread !
We watched the street performers in the evenings in Cannes and ate ice creams at midnight !
ETC ETC
Perfect base for all activities. At the end of 2 weeks we have usually exhausted all the things we wanted to do but not here ! There was so much ! we could only do a small amount in the time we had.
BRILLIANT ! We will return !! Thankyou !!
