Crete has much to offer, sightseeing, archaeological sites, the lovely beaches of Falassarna, Elafonissi and Balos which are all within easy driving distances. A group A car is included for bookings of 14 days & over The famous Samaria Gorge, other wonderful Gorges and walks in the countryside are a delight. Spila is located on the edge of the plain of Chania 2 km from Kolymvari, 22km from Chania city-centre and 35 km from the airport of Chania. The village is near the junction with the national road which allows access to Chania in less than 20 minutes. The village Spilia (cave in Greek) is named after the Cave of Ai-Yiannis Erimitis which is located in the west part of the village on a hill, on an impressive site of great historical importance with exceptional view.

Welcome pack: A welcome pack will await you in the Villa, consisting of traditional fresh organic products. A bottle of olive oil, raki, and local wine from Yianni, Katerina's husband's, own farm. For you to enjoy leisurely breakfasts on your terrace overlooking the Pool, there is a breakfast pack consisting of bread, natural juices, eggs, [again from Yiannis own farm] bacon, marmalade and butter.

Cleaning and linen change.: Also included are bath & Pool towels. The Villa is cleaned twice a week which includes linen and towel change.

Extraordinary stay in perfect surrounding

Even in first week of November we had a very nice week in this beautifull villa with several visits on the perfect beach Falassarna incl. swimming in the sea, which was warmer than the already very fresh pool. The villa is very well equipped, the only things to improve are the TV-connection (no SAT) and the the very poor internet availability. It should be mentioned, that there is also a DVD-player. Thank you to the very pleasant owners for their perfect hints and services.

The perfect stay in Crete

If you are looking for a place to stay when in Crete away from the hectic tourist areas this is the one.
A house where you easy can stay 3 family’s with your own bathrooms and each room having their own A/C.
The house is beautifully maintained by both gardeners and cleaning service that gives your stay a feeling of living in a hotel.
It is situated a little bit up in the mountain in the midst of olive trees and a lovely smell of wild herbs.

You should of course have your own car and therefore be able to visit new places every day.
You will find the Crete’s most beautiful beaches Elafonisi and Falassarna within an hour drive.
But should you decide to stay in the house during the day that will be just fine as you have a fantastic pool to enjoy.

Clean home in remote area. 15 minute drive to public beach. Beds hard but rooms are clean and light. Good air conditioning. Kitchen well equipped. Need a car for this villa.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa Katarina. Tout était parfaitement conforme à la description. C'est une villa luxueuse, avec une vue superbe sur la mer. La famille Papadakis est très sympathique et règle vite les petits problèmes qui peuvent subvenir. Huile d'olive, vin local, raki et tomates du jardin sont fournis à volonté. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le calme et la localisation de la villa, proche de Chania et de plages magnifiques. Je vous recommande vivement cette villa pour passer un séjour inoubliable en Crête.

A beautiful villa in a fantastic location. We have been to Crete 5 times and this is the only villa we have been happy to book again for next year. The villa has everything you need and more. The location is fantastic, very quiet but a short drive to local amenities. For us this is the perfect villa and we can't wait to get back.
