PALHEIRO GOLF located 10 minutes driving time from Pilar Studio, with magnificent views overlooking the town and bay, it´s an 18 hole golf course from 1993 by Cable Robinson.It is skilfully set within the gracious parkland of Quinta do Palheiro Ferreiro. SANTO DA SERA GOLF COURSE, was redesigned in 1991 by the famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones,who created a spetacular 27 hole golf couse in one of the most beautiful landscapes that nature may offer. It´s located in Santo da Serra, 20minutes driving away from Pilar Studio.
BEACHES-all around the Island, has been carefully created natural beaches;only 2kmt from the apartment,you can find LIDO MAR, PRAIA FORMOSA,BARREIRINHA,OR PONTA GORDA.In any of them, you are able to enjoy our sun and the green flags of our sea.If you want to go a bit far and leave Funchal,you are also able to find very good beaches,even with sand, like Calheta Beach.
LEVADA WALKING, are just wonderful trips along the inside part of the Island.
