Stylishly furnished apartment sleeping 6. Extremely well equipped. The penthouse is situated 8 minutes from San Javier airport and 55 minutes from Alicante airport on a new development on the edge of San Cayetano. The village boasts several restaurants and tapas bars, internet cafe, weekly market, banks, upmarket bakery, beauty salon and supermarket. The apartment is family-friendly, with DVD player (and DVDs), Sky TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc. Golfers will be in their seventh heaven with the choice of 15 courses within a 20 min drive. The development is within easy reach of the cities of Murcia and Cartegena (both 25 minutes drive). Dozens of safe sandy beaches are situated around the natural lagoon called the Mar Menor (10 minutes drive) and La Manga Club and La Manga strip are within 30 minutes drive. This property is non-smoking. PLEASE NOTE: THE SWIMMING POOL AT THIS DEVELOPMENT IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. However there is a communal pool 5 minutes away

Notes: Air-conditioning/heating in all bedrooms as well as the living room. There are three balconies at the property. Two are at the front of the apartment overlooking the village, and one is at the rear overlooking a communal area on the development, so you can almost always find some sun or some shade at any time of day during any season. There are 2 sun loungers and outdoor dining facilities for 6 persons.

Does the development have a swimming pool?: There is a large pool planned but its construction is not yet complete (estimated completion in Autumn 2009). A small pool is available on the development, and a larger pool just 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Does the apartment have a roof terrace?: No, but it does have 3 terraces - 2 at the front of the property and one at the rear. This means that is almost always possible to find a sunny or shady spot at any time of the day.

Do you have any 'special offers'?: We can offer a free Welcome Pack for visitors who book the apartment less than 8 weeks before departure. This consists of a selection of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, jam, orange juice,water, Coke, beer, wine, bacon and cake. Be sure to clearly quote 'FREE WELCOME PACK' when booking.

Golf: 15 golf courses can be found within 20 minutes drive, including La Manga, La Torre, Villamartin, El Valle and Mosa. We have a contact in Spain who is able to offer discounts and book tee times.

Luxury Penthouse in True Spain

Our first time in this part of Spain and we stayed in a "piece of heaven". The penthouse is outstanding in quality and luxury with all needs catered for and we hope to return again and again. Set in a true Spanish village you will experience a relaxing, friendly, quiet, down to earth holiday, until sunset when the village comes to life offering excellent tapas and good company. Many of the area's attractions are minutes away. Beautiful beaches and plenty of places to visit. (A complete booklet of the area, it's attractions and more importantly how to get there awaits your arrival at this beautiful penthouse, very useful and very informative). Highly recommended.
Owner's Response: We keep a folder at the apartment with suggestions for places to visit and bars and restaurants we have visited (along with emergency contact info, how to use various appliances, driving directions, etc). We encourage anyone staying at the apartment to fill in our guest book with their comments and details of any places they have visited. We will incorporate these into our folder of information in due course.

Great holiday in Spain

We went to Spain in June 2009 and stayed in this apartment. You alway's feel apprehensive when going to a place for the first time about the area and accomodation. Well after five minutes we felt really at home. The apartment really is first class. All the facilities you could wish for and more. The surrounding area is "old Spain" which blends in really well with the new developments. We mixed our stay with the men playing golf and the girls and kids chilling on the beach. You need travel no more than twenty minutes and you can pick as mainy golf courses as you like and choose numerous beaches to go to which are sandy, safe and have all the amenities you need. We would highly recommend this location and apartment. We will definitely be going back

Lovely break in the sun

Had a lovely week in October 2007 with my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren aged 11 and 14. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, especially with the short distance from Murcia airport.

Tip: try Joachim's bar/restaurant in the village - it's full of Spanish at lunchtime - what a great atmosphere.
Owner's Response: "Nanny Norma" is right about Joachim's place. The lunchtime atmosphere is buzzing. Sometimes they have Engish-speaking staff working, but at other times we have had to point to tapas dishes and gesticulate.

Great property for a family holiday

We stayed at this property in February this year. The property is beautifully furnished. Its location is great for exploring this area of Spain. The property was very clean for our arrival and was very well equipped for our stay. There are great places to eat only 10 minutes away and beautiful family friendly beaches. I would definately recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit the 'real' spain.
