Transport - local or car?:
We are often asked if a car is required. If you are already coming by car, Cannes is an excellent base for touring the region from the Var to Italy. But for shorter says - up to several weeks in fact - a car is most certainly not required. Regional transport services - bus, train, and coastal ferries, are excellent and not expensive. You can travel by train from Cannes to Grasse, Antibes, Nice, Villefranche, Monaco, or Vingtemille* (Italy) for day visits or shopping, or (westwards) to Frejus. St.Raphael from where you can take a bus (or boat) to St.Tropez. A ferry trip to the beautiful Iles des Lerins just off the coast of Cannes is a welcome opportunity to swap the bustle of the Riviera for the tranquil peace of unspoiled forest and rocky bathing pools. And the peninsula costal walks of the 'Caps' ... Cap d'Antibes, Cap Ferrat (see the beautiful gardens of the Villa de Rotschild here) etc.. are some of our favourite day excursions.
Prices, dates, reservation:
We do not promote 'specials', but we do update rental prices. We set our prices at the begining of the year (based on previous year demand) then - depending on booking - we revise them regularly to ensure a good occupancy rate. This means that you might be quoted a slightly better price closer to your arrival date - but of course there is also a risk it may already be booked!!

To reserve the property it is necessary first to inform us that you want to book and that you intend to send the reservation deposit. We can hold the dates for you (we call this PROVISIONAL date holding pending deposit transfer) to give you time to pay. If payment doe not arrive or if you break communicaiton with us we will re-advertise the dates as available.
