Should you prefer a day out to the Protaras Water park, then a couple of hundred meters is how far you have to go. Protaras centre is a mere15 minute walk away should you indulge to visit the bustling resort of Protaras. Several beaches are to be found around the coastline. The villa benefits from its own private overflow pool & secluded back garden, with a separate children's plunge pool. Leading from the dining area, the large patio doors overlook the back garden and pool area. Two of the Bedrooms have the benefit of overlooking the Med sea. The villa is fully-furnished with tables and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two King Size beds and one twin bedroom, together with the spacious couch, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Protaras is the most popular resort on the island, best known for its hospitality and fabulous blue flag beaches. Over 25 chapels & churches to visit with Prophet Elias being the most popular, due to its 243 steps before one reaches the chapel. The weather is absolutely magnificent for 8 months of the year (April to October), with temperatures ranging from 30 to 40 degrees celcius. Winters are something we miss and have not experienced over the last few years, with temperatures around 20 degrees celcius during the day. The ghost town of Famagusta is a must for all visitors, which can be viewed from local check points in the neighbouring Dherynia village. The local waterpark is ideal for a day away from the pool or beach, with the Ayia Napa waterpark awaiting the most adventurous funseakers. Two local minigolf centres, dancing waters show and aquarium, are just a few of the many leisure activities, especially attractive to those with children.
