Recent additions to cottage include an infrared sauna and conservatory. Relax, reconnect and indulge yourself while we pamper you during your stay. Enjoy a glass of vino while you warm yourself by the Chiminea in the evening by the garden patio pond. INCLUDED is a gourmet (Saturday or Sunday) brunch for weekly rentals such as Potato Latkes with home-made Applesauce, Kedgeree, Brioche French Toast with pure Maple Syrup, Traditional Irish Fry, or Fritatta. We stock your fridge with staples and include home baked scones and breads. West Cork is a Wild and Rare natural beauty worth visiting. With its plethora of Farmer Markets in Spring/Summer and endless activities, West Cork offers a unique opportunity to take a break from the crowds. We are located at the foot of Mount Kid, surrounded by working farms in a rural secluded setting. The nearest beach to our West is stunning Barley Cove and the Mizen Head Peninsula only 45 minutes away. Killarney is 1.5 hours North of us with fantastic shopping and restaurants galore. To our East is the lovely village of Kinsale. Skibbereen is our nearest town boasting unique boutiques, wonderful restaurants, and the fantastic garden grounds of Lis Ard featuring the amazing Sky Garden. Our village of Ballydehob has a premier antique shop, and new Italian and Chinese restaurant. Stop in for a pint at one our our lovely pubs! The month of May brings the Jazz Festival for the third year and well worth the visit. Bantry Bay Harbour is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world, and a thriving town just 30 minutes from us with shopping, restaurants and a Farmer's Market every Friday. Visit Bantry House for tea and scones while you take in the view.

This cottage is well kept and well maintained. It has the most hospitable owners we have ever met and immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed. The hottub and sauna made this a truly relaxing escape. This cottage is a MUST for any couple or person looking to escape the world and experience quality time with themselves or a loved one. We would go as far as saying it would be a beautiful honeymoon destination for any couple wishing to spend time alone with gourmet chefs on site at their disposal. Dar and Dee
