This romantic Spanish 'Cortijo' (cottage) retreat with its traditional charm, provides the ultimate five star ‘home from home’ experience, a welcoming atmosphere and attentive and discreet personal service for up to 20 guests, The house enjoys a unique location overlooking the stunning El Torcal Natural Park, an area famed for its outstanding natural beauty. Guests can chill out in this relaxed and totally private estate and be assured of a memorable holiday with family or groups of friends. The main house has 8 en suite bedrooms, individually styled with luxury beds, soft linen, designer toiletries, flat screen television, DVD and CD. El Trigal is located in the el Torcal Natural Park region, it sits on a hilltop overlooking the amazing rock formations of the park. If you a nature lover and enjoy hiking, we have many great walks in the area. There is a wolf park , which has wolves in a semi natural environment, the kids love this place 1 Further afield are the lakes of el Chorro and the inland salt lake of Fuente de Piedra . breeding ground for pink flamingos. For cultural buffs, we have it all . Malaga is home to the Picasso museum, the Alhambra Palace at Granada - Cordoba with its amazing Mezquita and Royal Palace, Ronda, home of the bullfight, Seville , a truly wonderful city - all can be visited in a day. The famous Costa del Sol beaches are a 40 minute drive from the house.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The above rates are for the main house only - which has 8 en suite bedrooms. The 2 bedroom annex can be rented alongside the main house , rates from 900 € per week Please note it is not possible to rent the annex without the main house.
  • The weekly rates include daily maid service for 3 hours each day All linen and towels . including pool towels are provided. Damage deposit of 1000 € is payable on arrival to the estate manager and will be refunded on departure once the property has been checked.

    Pool heating is charged at 150 € per week
  • Full catering option – We can offer a fully catered all inclusive villa rental option where professional staff come to the villa and provide a full catering service of  lunch and dinner daily, all prepared, cooked, served and cleared away, ensuring that everyone can relax and enjoy their holiday. The price includes wine, beer and soft drinks, nuts and crisps and a fridge full of ice cream. The price is 500 euros per person per week on top of the rental rates..Partial catering option -  Alternatively we can provide one three course meal per day for 30 euros per person. None of the catering options are included in the weekly rental rates.All meals are prepared by a professional chef , we have a large range of menus for guests to choose from . The chef prepares any style of food required. He can also offer Spanish cookery lessons by arrangement.

In most of the bedrooms it is possible to split the beds to provide twin beds if required. Cots are available on request.

Nature lovers Andalucia : El Torcal Natural Park on our own doorstep - 200,000,0000 years ago this was a seabed, the limestone rock formations are extraordinary , the beautiful valleys within the park are home to more than 30 varieties of wild orchids, mountain goats and many birds or prey, who float around the theramals created by the craggy rock formations. Hike around the area, we have many dedicate walks along old goatherders tracks Visit Fuente de Piedra . home to more than 5000 pink flamingos El Chorro Lakes - our own inland lakes , these turquoise oasis's, are the perfect day trip to swim, fish and hike through the pine forests surrounding the lakes
