Overlooking the sand dunes & just a 4 minute walk to the beach. The location makes it perfect for short breaks, shopping trips, golf weekends, cycling, fishing, walking & horse riding. The apartment is tastefully furnished with wooden and tiled floors. It will sleep 8 people (1 x double bed, 6 x single beds). It has 37' LCD TV (FR), Video (UK PAL), DVD (region 2), CD/radio. Electric C/Heating in all rooms. Well appointed NEW open plan kitchen, 4 zone hob, oven/combined microwave and dishwasher. Dining table and 6 chairs and living room seating for 6. 2 x shower rooms one on each level & a separate WC. 2 south facing balconies with patio furniture and sun loungers. Private parking for 1 car. Total area 85m2. Linen is NOT supplied. Guests will need to provide tea towels, towels, sheets/duvet covers & pillowcases. Quilt sizes are 1 x double size and 4 singles. The Apartment must be left clean on departure. A refundable deposit of £100 is payable. No smoking in the apartment please.

Situated on the Cote de Opal, less than a 10 minute drive from Le Touquet with its chic boutiques and huge range of restaurants. 2 championship quality golf courses, one through forest, the other through dunes lie within a 15 minute drive of the apartment. Le Touquet also boasts a Thalassotherapy centre, boat tours of the Canache bay, sailing, fishing, land yachting as well as the Aqualud water park with its all year round heated pools, wave machines and water slides. The Bagatelle theme park is only a 15 minute drive away. Other places of interest include Berck, Etaples, Camiers, Montreuil and the chocolate factory at Beussent and many other pretty villages and military historic sites. There are several bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the apartment. There are also several small supermarkets, gift shops, a boulangerie, takeaway, butchers and a fabulous poissonerie close by. Stella Plage also has a twice weekly market in season which is well worth a visit.

  • A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure a reservation (per week or part week booked).
    The balance is due 6 weeks before the start date
    A refundable security deposit of £100 is required with the final payment.

    All school holidays require a minimum 1 week rental.
  • About security deposits: The purpose of the security deposit is to insure against damages, pay for specialist cleaning if needed and replacement of keys and locks if necessary. Providing all is OK at the end of your rental period, there is nothing to worry about and the money will be immediately returned. It is typical in the area that a security deposit of up to €300 is taken for this but we prefer to keep things sensible and affordable. We keep our rates low by relying upon guest to receive and leave the apartment clean and ready for the next guest and we pay a local agent to conduct the inspection after each rental. We don’t ask for a “deep clean” but just that the apartment is left tidy, swept and moped, spillages wiped etc. All cleaning tools and materials are provided for this. However, if your party prefers not to clean the apartment yourself, a local cleaning service can be provided for you at a rate of €50 per clean.

Notes: Built in 2007, this is a modern duplex apartment, i.e. it has two levels and is situated on the second floor of the building. The entrance is served by internal stairs and via a secured access. Please note there is no lift. There are TWO South facing balconies one on each level. The 1st floor balcony is served by patio doors from the dining/lounge areas and is furnished with a patio table and 6 chairs. The 2nd floor balcony is served from the studio style bedroom and is furnished with decking and pool-side style sun loungers. ......Both balconies benefit from excellent sunshine all day, East to West all day! The lounge is furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and a swivel leather recliner. Dining for 8 people is possible with use of the balcony furniture. NEWLY FITTED kitchen (2009!). All kitchen utensils are provided. Towels tea-towels and bed linen are not provided (pillows and quits are provided but you will need to bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases and quilt covers)

Golf!: Close to the famous Golf du Touquet. 5km from Stella Plage & 3km from Le Touquet centre. Consisting of two courses. • La Forêt Course created in 1904 set in the heart of an old pine forest; 18 holes 5827 metres, SSS 71, Par 71. • La Mer Course is a championship links course laid out amongst wild sand dunes; 18 holes 6393 metres, SSS 75,5; Par 72. • Le Manoir Course is perfect for beginners; 9 holes 2817 metres, S.S.S. 35, Par 35. • Practice range, two putting greens, Picthing and Chipping zones.

Historic interest: The main regional towns are Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Lens, Liévin, Artois, Arras and Saint-Omer. Each of these towns have great historical interesting and sights to absorb. Visit the Field of the Cloth of Gold, Agincourt and the various battlefields dotted around the area. There are many excellent rural walks taking in quaint villages along the way. And, just across the border into Belgium is the gorgeous town of Bruges, a very worthwhile visit.

Easy to reach from the UK: Best of all? ......This is a very easy place to reach and take that well earned rest. As an example, if you plan well, you can be there in less than 4 hours from Surrey including the crossing time! A week or a weekend away in a typically french town has never been so simple.

Holiday in the snow

We arrived early Feb just as Britain was in the grip of THAT snow - luckily we missed most of it! The trip down was fun as they had about 2" but, because they are organised, by the next day a lot of it had been cleared and the following day you would have hardly thought it had snowed at all!

The appartment was easy to find from the instructions given and was exactly as described. It was clean and tidy and is a lovely base from which to plan trips out and about.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, everyone was very friendly and coped well with my attempts at French!

What we liked best was the ease of travel around the whole area - roads were well marked and we found some lovely places to go. There is lots to see and do, both for adults and children alike, whatever your interests.

We really enjoyed our few days there and would highly recommend the appartment; we fully intend to go back.

Perfect Short Break

I took my family for a short 3 day break. The property was very nice but the last person to leave before we got there did not clean up how they should have. Saying that we are a family of 6 and so did a quick clean up and then a freshen up before we went out and about. This property is perfect for those with a car because it means you can get about a bit further than just le touquet. If you do venture up to Paris like i did with my family then pack a lunch as it is very expensive there. It cost me £3 for a tango drink, Thats right £3 each. A coffee in Paris cost just under 5 euro's. £3.50 for a bag of chips and then £5.50 for 6 chicken nugets. Anyway the property is cosy and just up the road from the beach. The other way takes you to the local shops. They are better priced than in Paris. Alternatively do your shopping in bulk from the local supermarkets. All in all we had a lovely stay at what is a reasonably priced accomodation with all the facilities to enable a comfortable stay.

Lovely place, top-quality boulangerie and sand dunes within an easy walk. Definitely go to the restaurant opposite (I know the name - "Resto de Fred" - is a bit off-putting, but it's staggeringly gorgeous food!)

The booking process was smooth and hassle free, the flat was cosy, the locals were tolerant of our appalling french and we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

One unfortunate thing; the beach seemed to have been the scene of some sort of spill of soap-based products judging by the state of the resilient frothy crust forming a 2-foot high wall at the tideline but I assume it's not usually like that(!?!?)

Loads of space, great if you have children. Useful to have a bathroom on each level, and a brilliant storage room. An extra bonus was the bicycle store room downstairs
