The pool area is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and boasts spectacular views across the ocean. Amarilla Golf & Country Club is a 5 min walk down the road and has spectacular coastal views and a backdrop of Mount Teide. Amarilla Golf complex has an 18 hole links golf course, with a separate 9 hole Pitch and putt. Other facilities include a club house, pro shop, driving range, lessons, club & buggy hire, horse riding, tennis court, swimming pool, bar and restaurant. A short walk will take you to the sea and new marina and also the bars, restaurants and shops of Golf del Sur.

Transport

A car is recommended if you wish to see the sights on the island, although most facilities are available in the complex or within walking distance in the local area. Car hire can be arranged prior to arrival. There is a good bus service with bus stops only five minutes walk from the apartment. There are regular bus services to the majority of destinations on the island.

Golf Information:

This is a true paradise for golfers as there are 8 championship courses and 3 pitch & putt courses all within a short drive. The PGA championship golf course at Amarilla is an 18-hole championship course where you can enjoy the incredible views of the majestic Mount Teide and Atlantic Ocean views. During your round you are surrounded by a broad variety of typical Canarian flora. Designed by Donald Steel, it is able to take advantage of the beautiful contrasts of the Island. From the first tee, the player discovers the spectacular ocean views. The most impressive part of the course is the 5th hole, where the sea becomes the fairway, making it necessary to cross it in order to reach the green. The course is very challenging with ravines and rocky outcrops alongside of the sometimes narrow fairways. The golf course is open to the public. Bookings made at the pro shop. There is also a splendid pitch and putt (par 3) course at Amarilla open to the public. Five minutes drive away is the superb Golf del Sur golf complex. It has 27 holes; the north and south nines are a championship course which has hosted many men's and women's PGA events. Golf Las Americas is an 18 hole course 20 minutes drive away. The course is well presented although a little more expensive than the others. Adeje is the farthest away at 25 minutes drive. It is a newer course, having 27 holes and is highly rated with wonderful views.
