Apartment Isabella is a contemporary executive apartment on the top floor ( second) of a modern chalet building completed in the Autumn of 2006. The apartment is bright, airy and spacious and beautifully appointed throughout.There is a lift in the building. A full inventory of contents is provided, including linen and towels. The apartment affords splendid views of the river and mountains beyond and the sunny southwest facing terrace enjoys both afternoon and evening sunshine.The location is ideal for walking to the village center, and the ski bus stops just outside the apartment. The constant sound of the river brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the apartment. Secure parking is available in the basement garage which is accessed via a heated ramp. The basement also offers laundry facilities ( coin operated ) and a secure ski/bike store.

Kaprun-Zell am See is the perfect base for your summer or winter holiday. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier offers year round ski-ing and boarding with powder snow from as early as Autumn. There are 2 championship golf courses in the area offering excellent sport in an idyllic setting. In summer Lake Zell offers sailing, windsurfing and waterski-ing. There is a safe bathing area with a pool for toddlers and fishing,boat rental and pleasure cruises are also very popular. For the more adventurous, kayaking,caving, climbing and canyoning are also available in the area. Cyclists will enjoy the the prepared cycle paths and trails with their inns and cafes. For mountain bikers, the 2002 World Championship cross-country track is accessible from the village while a further 13 trails of light to medium difficulty start around Kaprun and Lake Zell. Bike rental, tennis and horse riding are also available locally. There are 83 marked hiking trails with guided walks exploring the alpine flora and fauna.

    A 30% deposit (+ €50 cleaning charge) is payable on booking. The balance is payable no less than six weeks before arrival.
    Payment should be made by BACS Transfer and can be sent in Euros (to our Austrian Account) or in Sterling (to our UK Account).

Airport Transfers from Salzburg and Munich: On receipt of your booking, we will be pleased to provide details of several local companies who offer taxi and mini-bus transfers to and from Kaprun at reasonable rates. The journey time from Salzburg to Kaprun is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The Munich transfer takes around 2 hours 45 minutes. Car hire is available at both airports and routes to and from Kaprun and the surrounding area are very well signposted.

Ski: Kaprun is a snow safe resort! Snowsports are possible all year round on the 3,000m Kitzsteinhorn Glacier where powder snow is commonplace and can even be found as early as Autumn! It is also possible to ski and snowboard at Schaufelberg and Zell am See on the same local pass. Frequent buses allow for easy transfer between the three areas and these are free to skiers and boarders. For a modest premium on local pass prices, the Super Salzburg Ski Card is valid across all 23 of the region's resorts, opening up a truly massive choice for the more adventurous! There are numerous equipment rental outlets in Kaprun. We will be pleased to arrange instruction, specialist guides or ski race training with top Austrian coaches (at discounted rates) on request.

Golf: The two splendid 18 hole championship golf courses - 'Schmittenhohe' and 'Kitzsteinhorn' - lie midway between Kaprun and Zell am See in the heart of the majestic Hohe Tauern National Park. Together they represent Austria's largest and arguably most beautiful alpine golf facility offering the most amazing mountain views. The two parkland courses lie next to each other and extend across the flat floor of the sunny Salzach Valley. Both courses are beautifully manicured and have hosted several international tournaments including the World Ski and Golf Championships which are held here each spring (May). The season extends from April to November when it is also possible to combine golf with ski-ing on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier! The splendid clubhouse features a most attractive outdoor terrace and excellent catering. Practice facilities include a driving range and putting green. Professional coaching can be arranged if desired. Electric carts are available for hire.
