This 2 double bedroomed 1st floor self-catering apartment was been completely refurbished in June 2007 and this is the 1st rental season. The air-conditioned apartment can comfortably sleep up to 6 people. It has a fully fitted kitchen with an oven, hob, fridge freezer and all cooking utensils. The larger bedroom has a double bed and second one has 2 single beds. The lounge also has a sofa bed with that turns in to another double bed. The apartment also has a large balcony with table and chairs and there is a small tiled patio terrace which will be ideal for BBQ's or relaxing after a day on the beach.

Scalea is a picturesque town situated in Calabria in southern Italy, on the sunny Tyrrhenian coast. Surrounded by sea and mountains. The old town is placed on the heights and preserves the remains of an ancient wall, while towards the beach there are modern, comfortable hotels, splendid villas and numerous, fully-equipped bathing areas on the beach. These enchanting beaches look out onto a sea of incomparable beauty. Scalea, up until now, has been untouched by foreign visitors. Italians have been having great holidays here for year, but it has remained unknown to the rest of the world. If you are interested in the 'Real' Italy, then this region is for you because you will see real culture and Italian life, Live Eat Sleep like the Italians!!. But also please remember that no-one here speaks English and you will need a good phrasebook!. But if you are open-minded enough and make a little effort you will gain so much from being here.
