It has secure garage for Mountain Bikes and bike washing facilities.
With over 500kms of mountain trails to bike on and chair lifts to get you started, the area has become well known for its terrain. Many events are hosted here, including the World Cup Downhill in Les Gets and the Avalanche Cup in Morzine. Mountain bikers can use these courses throughout the summer, along with the other courses in the Portes du Soleil. There is also the Free Raid which is available for all to enter in early summer. This is a race for the all round riders (downhill and cross country) which takes you all over the area.

Montriond and Morzine are perfect for families and are far more relaxed and affordable than many of the other Alpine resorts.
Our chalet is ideally located in a quiet part of Montriond, just a couple of minutes from Morzine. During your stay you can undertake a range of activities each day which the whole family will enjoy. For thos nights when you want some adult time you are able to organise professional English nannies to look after your children should you want a day away or a night out.

Ski:
Chalet StarSki is located in Morzine. The Portes Du Soleil, or Gateway to the Sun, is the largest linked ski area in the world, and is made up of 12 French and Swiss resorts in the Alps. It boasts some 650 km of piste in the winter and needs to be skied to be believed.
Climbing from 1000 to 2466m, between France and Switzerland, its 208 ski lifts will take you up to the 8 snowparks, 243km of cross country tracks and 650km of marked pistes that interconnect the 14 resorts ... all accessible with a single ski pass! Even though parts of the ski area sit at a moderate altitude, it's northern situation (the most Northern in France) means that it often gets better snow than most other French resorts which are much higher. This factor along with the abundance of North facing slopes, means the snow lasts well into May!
