The European Tour are delighted to announce that the 2008 Irish Open will take place between May 15th and 18th at the spectacular Robert Trent Jones Snr designed Championship course at Adare Golf Club. With a renewed marketing campaign behind the national championship, crowds of close on 60,000 and of course the tension filled victory of Padraig Harrington in a sudden-death play-off against Welshman Bradley Dredge, last year’s Irish Open proved to be a resounding success both on and off the course.
