Located in hilltop village of Pech Luna, with splendid views of surrounding countryside, this holiday home offers tranquility & an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of one of the most scenic areas of SW France. Pech Luna (“Moon Hill”) is very quiet & is one of the highest villages around with breathtaking views over ever changing fields & the Pyrenees. Less than 1 hr drive from Carcassonne & Toulouse airports, the house is 20 mins from market towns of Mirepoix, Castelnaudary (Canal du Midi) & Pamiers & is less than 1 hr from Mediterranean Sea & Pyrenees. The attractive stone built house accommodates up to 9, & is split over 3 levels, with 2 wood burners & radiators throughout making the property cosy in winter. There is a terrace & courtyard for summer outdoor living with beautiful countryside views. Our house next door is also for rent so it is perfect for larger groups or two families, sleeping a total of 12 people.
