Superbly situated, in the Marais district of Paris, which is one of the most picturesque and oldest parts of Paris, this quiet and tranquil flat, with all windows giving onto a private tree and flower filled court yard is within easy walking distance of Place de Vosges, Bastille, Picasso museum, Carnavalet museum, Pompidou modern art museum, and many of the most famous Paris monuments and landmarks. The area abounds with traditional and trendy restaurants, interesting bars, designer and avant-garde boutiques. There are several art galleries in the same street. This trip was a birthday treat for me from my husband. What a lovely treat it turned out to be. The description we had read was very accurate, it has a pleasant location and very central to visit other areas. The property was very clean and well presented and maintained, and most importantly very comfortable and facilitated all requirements. It is an ideal getaway for both sight seeing and relaxing. I would certainly recommend to friends and hope to return very soon!

Perfect base for a relaxing city break

My husband, 7 month old daughter, and I have just returned from a short break at this apartment and we were delighted with everything. Location is ideal - we managed to walk with the puschair as far as Jardins du Luxembourg and Pere Lachaise, but closer to home are the chic boutiques and galleries of the Marais. The apartment is on the ground floor also which is handy for those with babies. Everything inside is great too; we couldn't believe the amount of space we had, the bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had everything you'd need including an expresso machine which I managed to master quite easily! I will certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family.
